  • Stuffed animal.

(Sorry, I will now see myself out)

  • Haai !

(some folks, depending on their language, might get this pun)

  • Boo!!

  • Most folks would buy consumer-grade Seagate drives. I am having a hunch that those would not be remotely comparable to EXOS drives.

  • I doubt that ICANN will add .smash as a TLD anytime soon, lol. You might have misinterpreted my previous remark.

  • The angle in this photo is indeed odd, but also the only time I ever taken a boat on the Binnendieze was in a fairly small boat with only a few other tourists and a guide. I might misremember, because it has been a few years, but there were some moments we had to mind our heads.

  • There is no .smash TLD (yet). Sorry to disappoint you.

  • I honestly thought they were mostly joking, the way I read this thread. Otherwise, I might have to take back my upvotes. Or I will now just take them back pre-emptively, just in case.

  • As stated in the article, lol.

  • Please check the other posts in this thread for the extra context needed. There is more about the guy than being gay.

  • Yeah, it kinda does.

  • Oh, I accidentally copied that over from the original Peertube post (video description). I have now edited the post a bit.

  • Those rips were played with VLC, MPV or something, right? Such software tends to be far better at decoding videos on HW like this, than browsers.

  • I am not renting a VPS from them (only domain registration, an e-mailadres and whois privacy), but have you looked into the offerings from Infomaniak? Mind you, things like the TLD influence the price a lot (reg and/or renewal), and hosting related services can increase costs as well.

    1. On 27" screen size, I doubt you would have a sharpness/detail benefit in comparison to 1440p. Especially in online video.
    2. I do not see any mention of HDR support. Apparently it's a 10-bit monitor, but that does not imply it's HDR capable.
    3. I would not know nearly enough about calibration to tell you about this.4 More pixels per inch (or per cm, whatever) often mean that e.g. text gets smaller. One of the many reasons I believe in the idea that 2160p screens only make sense (in some scenarios) when they are larger than 27". Otherwise you may start needing scaling even when your eyesight is better than mine.
    4. No idea about brightness specs like that, so I won't comment on that.
    5. That is normal with a lot of monitors out there.
  • This "article" links to a source that admits that that is exactly the case (pun intended). Plus, the pictures (renders?) show "8TB" and the "article" linked to here states 8GB. The linked original source does not state a capacity in the text body (unless I missed it).
