안녕하세요!
I think the answer is obvious: Tate tells them "you're awesome". No one else is doing that. People seek validation.
It's actually quite impressive that they don't get crowd crushes
They are exploring options like reserving 30 percent of Fulbright scholarships to applicants who are parents and/or married, giving mothers that $5,000 “baby bonus” that Trump promised during the campaign season, and even a government-funded program to better educate women on their own menstrual cycles so that they know when they should be trying for a baby.
If a Democratic politician did this, we would be calling it progressive
Gnome's extension power is true, but it's also because they don't give a toot about supporting them natively
I just scrolled my post history and picked an example. Like why is this downvoted? It's literally just an answer to OP on how to do what they want https://lemmy.ml/comment/18043111

Why is the West like this
Edit: America. Sorry for bundling you functional EU countries into this
People are still afraid to publicly (internally?) support Republicans, even though our CEO has endorsed them and we've hired some right-wing politicians for various roles
(That or truly very few people are Republican at FAANG)
People downvote me all the time and I just think "well they're wrong, I've laid out my argument and they can't refute it". So I imagine Nazis feel the same way when you downvote them.
Edit: case in point
Btw you can vote in China. Do you think they're a democracy?
I find it funny that so many people feel it's pointless to vote for parties that represent their views. Don't lie to yourself that we live in a democracy
This is true though? As a recruiter I want someone competent. Statistically speaking, that's someone who isn't desperate
I understand your point, but which populace Democratic candidate is there besides Kamala and AOC?
Don't worry, I vowed to never vote DNC after 2016, so if you catch me voting 3rd party, sleep well knowing it was either that or not voting at all
They're also crushing it in the ML space. Half the good AI papers are written in Chinese; one of the startups I worked at had the luxury of hiring a Chinese speaking AI researcher who could read them for us
SCMP has always sided with mainland China on crux issues, but I've read them on and off for nearly 10 years now and have found them to be very reliable.
In fact, this is exactly what the Wikipedia page for reliable sources says about it too: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Perennial_sources
All the models will have token limits, especially if you're not paying for API access. You would have to tune a model based on the blog posts, but that's expensive, degrades model quality, and isn't easy to do.
Another thing you could do is have a model index the posts and then retrieve data based on search. The easiest way to do this would be download all the blog posts into a folder, then install cursor.com and open it on the folder. Cursor is for coding, but it will index your folder and then you can ask the model questions. You should be able to get this far with the free trial, but if you have a huge number of blog posts, it still won't work
It will start hallucinating if you overfeed it

PSA - Note on Brigading Reddit
Posting Reddit links where people are looking for alternatives/discussing Lemmy is great, since those of us who quit Reddit for Lemmy superiority can't tell people Lemmy is superior.
HOWEVER, be slightly cautious of brigading:
- To prevent brigading, Reddit stops counting upvotes on posts if people come from an external link, upvote quickly, and leave
- Reddit has previously banned links to rdrama.net due to excessive brigading - This would be bad if it happened to Lemmy
- We don't necessarily want to catch some power tripping Reddit admin to shadowban Lemmy shills
Basically, keep posting, but don't overdo it in a given subreddit, and maybe give a slight warning to not make a brigade obvious

Skyvern (AI agent) public evaluation dataset results
Skyvern is an open source (AGPL) AI agent that can complete tasks on the web.
Here's an example of Skyvern being asked to "Compare iPhone Pro Models": https://eval.skyvern.com/wpid_348574331532282024/wr_348574331532282026/overview
It can:
- Search the modern web
- Log in to websites, bypass captchas
- Fetch the latest information
- Handle error messages or new layouts
I've tried it out for a few things, but imo it's prohibitively expensive; that said, it's quite cool for doing things that scrapers cannot (one of the main use cases right now is it can apply to jobs for you). I've been following them for a few months, but I'm excited to see where they are in a few years
List of South Korean Presidents + What Happened To Them (Assassinations/Arrests/Suicide)
- 9 of 13 Korean presidents were either exiled, removed by coup, forced to resign, assassinated, arrested or impeached
- South Korea didn't have a peaceful transition of power until 1987
These are some of the most loaded, but technically true, sentences you can make.
(By the way, this post is in no way meant to bash South Korea, I just think dramatic history is cool)
Note - This list skips presidents who were only in power during transition
- Syngman Rhee (1948-1960) - Exiled
- Yun Po-sun (1960-1962) - Removed by coup
- Park Chung Hee (1963-1979) - Assassinated
- Choi Kyu-hah (1979-1979) - Forced to resign
- Chun Doo-hwan (1980-1987) - First peaceful transition, but still imprisoned
- Roh Tae-woo (1988-1993) - Imprisoned
- Kim Young-sam (1993-1998) - First peaceful transition to opposition party
- Kim Dae-jung (1998-2003) - Peaceful transition (was sentenced to death before winning the election)
- Roh Moo-hyun (2003-2008) - Suicide a year after leaving office
- Lee Myung-bak (2008-
