google drive nextcloud via homeserver however there are other clowd providers. now depending on what you need goigle drive for there is the option of using syncthing which syncs files that you have set up via your home network. good for documents and smaller files.

for android I use graphene os on a used google pixel 6 pro . Now I would at least recommend to buy a 7 if you want to get into it as the 6 pro is only supportet for 1 or 2 years. Graphene os is a prive and secure android fork that allows you to have greater control over apo permissions and has a bunch of other cool features.

• there are also special apps for selfhosting like immich ut I havent tried it.

As an email provider there is also posteo which is a nice email provider from germany that costs only 1 € a month. And with posteo and mailbox you can use 3rd party email clients which is not something you can do on proton or tuta.

Not quite. Dont get me wrong capitalism sucks and we should get rid of it, but for example colonialism is older than capitalism and part of its cause. So is colonialsim the root cause of evil? not quite again before colonialism there where still a lot of repressive and very hierarchical societies so again to frame capitalism as the root of all evil is ignoring a whole bunch of other repressive systems that are older but are certainly strengthend by it.

the poor stock os and the pricing are ultimatly what where a dealbreaker for me. I just bougth a google pixel 6 pro for 200€ of of ebay used about a year ago and installed graphene os on it. honestly better specs for the price but still shit 5G module on the pixel 6. Nevertheless better specs for chesper price and yeah graphene os is awosme.
