  • I’ve never seen “explanation” spelt with a “k” rather than an “x” but otherwise it seems easy to read.

I don’t mind your style of written English, it’s putting the fun back into phonetic.

  • How are people still struggling with the basic concept that the person who runs Blahaj can do what they want with Blahaj?

All I get from this type of moaning is: “I joined a decentralised platform and now disagree with decentralisation in action.”

If this kind of action is what it takes for Blahajists to protect their necks then this is how it’s gonna be…

  • I forgot that the really bad stuff gets scrubbed even from the modlog…

What tf is wrong with people who’re posting stuff like that…? Oh yes, I remember, they’ve found a place where people are happy and want to destroy it. I’m pretty confident Ada and Blahaj have more than enough to deal with as it is.

Thanks for any contribution you make to modding or letting people know when the bad stuff shows up.

  • I’ve used Linux Mint for about ten years. I’ve used terminal once - only because that specific laptop had some trackpad or WiFi (can’t remember which) issue. I just typed in a few lines and that was it.

  • The Welsh rugby team were at one point sponsored by a Cardiff brewery called “Brains” and when they played over in Paris the sponsors name was rendered as “Brawn”.

Also the cigarette brand “Benson and Hedges” were branded “Buzzing Hornets” when their F1 team were racing in countries that had already banned tobacco sponsorship.

  • I browse… Twitter, 9gag, 4chan, BlueSky, Lemmy and Mastodon. I find a mixed bag of cunts and diamonds on all of them - and loads of people in between.

The world is not as black and white as you see it.

Perhaps you might try sorting the wheat from the chaff next time before you make definitive sweeping statements about various platforms.

  • My almost five year old piece of under powered apple trash cost me less than 45 US cents a day, still has regular OS updates and works between eight to ten hours most days running my entire life. I might even splurge out and buy a new one if they ever release an overpowered non trash handset…
