It´s not considered "normal" by most but It´s also obvious how this is very tempting for anyone who feels lonely. However, there is a high probability the company actively optimizes the bots behavior to make lonely people emotionally dependent, not necessarily to make money out of them but even just to maximize screen time. Keep this in mind and practice awareness regarding how much of your life you want to invest into this fantasy based on a commercial AI service. If you use it consciously to fill a gap for some time, like playing a video game, there is almost no risk imo. On the other end of the spectrum, having an actual relationship with and becoming emotionally dependent on an AI bot, that is created and owned by a company, could cause serious problems in your life and hold you back socially too, even despite getting better in other areas like health. I recommend a conscious use approach.
There’s no guarantee the company doesn’t try to tune the AI’s behaviour for maximum value extraction from you.
Agreed, I would even say there is almost a guarantee they are doing that.
Cyberpunk is real T_T
Those damn radicals, won´t they ever think of the economy?
If there just was a union of european countries to be part of, that would be perfect ... oh wait.
Roguelite:
FTL - Faster Than Light
Dead Cells
Nova Drift
Hades
RPG:
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Disco Elysium (pirate this game, it was "stolen" from the devs, they wont see the money if you buy this game anyway)
Those are some of my all time favorite, superb quality, labor of love titles. Are you also interested in couch coop games?
Fascism and supremacism should be fought in all its forms
I wonder, how serious are you about the "all it´s forms" part, considering you chose to not put Israeli in that list?
Guys, it really depends on the type of game.
Nice, the lines and colors are really good, remind me of Moebius.
Pilots traditionally use methamphetamine, not alcohol.
And I will fondle yours too, give them here!

That guy is so good, he makes the originals sound cheap in comparison to his cover versions.
Do we know today how high the percentage of black cowboys was? I could imagine classic western movies have lied to us in that department too ...
Brokeblack Mountain
Horrible, is anything known about the motive?
A Cyberpunk Looking SMG - Demro XF-7 Wasp (1970s)
cross-posted from: https://lemmy.world/post/14351273
Designed by Gerry Fox in the early 1970s, this carbine saw production sequentially as the Fox Carbine, the TAC-1, and the XF-7 Wasp, as it went through several different manufacturers. It is an open bolt, semiauto carbine sold in both 9mm Parabellum and .45 ACP – and you could get caliber conversion kits consisting of a bolt and barrel assembly to swap caliber on an existing gun. In 9mm they used Sten magazines, and in .45 then used M3 Grease Gun magazines.
The gun was marketed to law enforcement audiences as well as civilians, but never found any LEO success. A fully automatic version was also made, but similarly saw little popularity (because of the cost of NFA registration in the 1970s and 80s).
Mechanically, the gun is somewhat akin to the Soviet PPSh, which an upper cover th

I have been uploading comic art images by Moebius for several weeks almost daily to the !eurographicnovels@lemm.ee community, where I´m a moderator myself. All those images have disappeared. Modlog says the images have been deleted by "admin". Modlog gives no reason for this but says the images were later restored by "admin" but that is not true. All my comic art posts have been destroyed and are empty posts now. I was not even contacted a single time about this and honestly can´t think of a reason because I had uploaded exclusively "safe for work" and apolitical material. We are trying to build a community for european graphic novels like "Tintin", "Lucky Luke" and "The Incal" and I put a lot of love in those posts because I want to help make our community interesting and grow. A few suggestions regarding banning
I got banned for a day. There was zero communication about it. I simply could not log in any more without any prior warning or any information about what was going on, or about the reason for the ban. This seems like a pretty bad practice because it wont give the user any chance of knowing what they did wrong and how to change their behavior to avoid breaking the same rule again in the future. Even now with my account unbanned, the modlog does not tell me any of those things. I think it is essential to let anyone who gets banned know:
- Why they were banned, including which rules they broke and in which statements/comments/posts they did so and how, to enable people to actually improve their behavior. Otherwise banning is pointless because users will just make a new account on another instance without changing their behavior
- That they were banned, I was super confused when I just couldnt log in any more suddenly
- For how long they were banned, I only found out about the duration
