  • Xi elevates weak domestic demand to a core issue of economic stability and security, making clear that the pivot toward domestic demand is no longer optional.

@xiaohongshu@hexbear.net getting tired of subtweeting the CCP from a finsta and made some calls

On a less joking note, I know in what was he wrote about the national question he touches upon the need for national liberation using both democratic and revolutionary movements in backwards nations, which would obviously touch upon much of LatAm, however I don't think I recall reading anything that touches any more specifically upon LatAm.

With the political backslide countries like Bolivia have seen, I think something more Bolivarian in character may be neccesary. Obviously though, even electoral only victories are better than chud reign.

  • Praying to Lenin for an upset

Vibes tells me he would only answer ones for revolution.

  • I guess maybe I'm projecting a bit of how I would act if I reached the mental place of MTW. To me, belief is followed by ideologically informed action. I don't fully believe in the most doomer interpretations of MTW but even then I struggle with the direct action question, so I couldn't imagine it from that position where there is no potential for revolution or in some cases even a vanguard formation.

I think there is that potential given a bit more deterioration, or even now in some of the oppressed nationalities if properly organized. From this FB a WM can be detrimental in some cases, or outright murderous in places like a food dessert that has seen monopoly form there with a hegemonic corp being the only grocer, which is why I don't currently support it. With the considerations I've seen from first world MTW I feel I would be mandated to FB a WM or if I couldn't would probably succumb to some form of reactionary redacted if I couldn't muster the conviction.

Idk, the position of that particular type of, "communist" utterly baffles me. With the succdems I at least understand how they arrive there, I see no positive of the first-world "nothing is to be done" MTW that isn't better solved by being a bog-standard liberal or a succdem.

  • I mean, I think if properly considered and practiced by a westerner it would end in the demands of the ancient posters: to go and FB a WM. or some contextually suitable equivalent action to constantly disrupt profit incentives and make is so imperial-super profits and all of the logistics required to keep them running are denied, thus they are denied their ability to pacify the first world. These types always argue communists need to "go underground" or some equivalent when going underground always is accompanied by actions that only those forced into the underground have proper incentive to do, since they are forced out of daily life, and thus denied the comforts dolled out to pacify those still in "society" proper. They fail the basic call to bring about the change needed to radicalize the proletariat, or if such is truly impossible in their analysis, at least de-pacify into something disruptive that weakens imperial social fabric and thus weakening its apparatus but them by denying the global labor aristocrats, themselves included, their luxuries and take upon themselves the task of the disruptive guerilla to do so.

But they don't do this because they don't actually believe what they think past the most surface level analysis, as anything else denies them the ability to do nothing.

  • If you dig deep enough into my posting you can catch me genuinely freaking out when I see some of those takes on here/grad lol

  • But most significantly, Trump’s B-2 stunt had smashed the whole Brzezinski’s Grand Chessboard scam about a Russia-Iran-China axis, which unfortunately many “anti-imperialists” on Twitter are still regurgitating about.

Counterpoint, if China saves us we don't have to do anything ourselves to stop our nation's warmongering!

  • The s is in deep cover for this post folks; it says hi from below.

  • Guys, we need to focus on the Zohran affordability program. Failures of internationalism and incrementalism aren't real critiques when doing so would harm actual progress for real Americans.

We need to focus on America as our primary, our first priority!!!

  • Imagine: global revolution with amerikkkan characteristics, brings a tear to my eye.

Wait... I think that's just napalm.

  • You're monkey-pawing it

  • I'm surprised there isn't a more democratic centralist Dem Soc org

Missed the fun debacle like 2 months ago where NYCDSA tried this and enforcing a support Zohran no matter what line that was overwhelming rejected by its membership.

Maybe we should just turn the DSA into the US version of the International

In my head its essentially taking the role of the reactionary trade union in context of the evaporation unions with undermined US labor power and its complete non-existence in swathes of the country and the fact with the membership numbers it has and broad access and associations with different organizations and activists it can serve as an agitational space for MLs while also giving people experience working in democratic bodies and organizing. Now too much of this is in electoral work imo, but I digress. I've seen people call it or allude to it being a party and that take is kinda delusion if they've taken a minute looking at its current internal operations. If DSA is a party as is, the word has no meaning.

I do see either a split of the DSA happening at some point from either its left or right depending on how the national level power struggle goes, or a full folding into the dems in a particular lose scenario for the DSA's left, however even that would server as either a split or fracturing as it would also likely hemorrhage most of those people, the difference being at that point they fracture into a bunch of micro-orgs instead of a coherent org/party.

  • News mega ensuring none of us truly feel at peace

  • DSA chair sounds like a cursed job NGL. They have basically no enforcement power over most of what the org does since chapters are so independent. You want DSA to be associated with social democracy well too bad the Liberation caucus just posted about how based shooting Israeli government officials is and is calling for a DSA red guard. You want a proper revolutionary party? Well too bad New York has decided one more elected will get the job done.

  • The national politics of DSA have been notably left of Mamdani's stance to the chagrin of many, notably those from the NYC branch who has many members that are trying to enforce a lockstep with him.

Edit: This is going to sound like a piss-take but DSA is one org I think would genuinely be more useful after a "party" split.

  • I am aware, I'm saying socdem (DSA elected) is getting ratfucked by transactional politics with another socdem.

  • NYC-DSA has a fairly different political makeup than a lot of the rest of the chapters and chapters are generally very independent from national (See AOC being dropped by national and NYC still endorsing her).

Effectively, there is the funny situation of NYC having little to reign Zohran in with, and national has little to reign NYC in with.

  • Apparently, he's even ratfucking a DSA elect by endorsing Landers over them in a campaign. Even doing socdem politics isn't good enough to avoid being ratfucked.

  • The third… hahaha… that’ll be a huge fight with the elite class that has benefited greatly from their collaboration with the bourgeoisie. Good luck!

    Need a runback.
