  • Easy, I had questions, lots of questions and instead of giving me the answers he walked me through the process to get the answer. This wouldn't take long to work through I just needed his guidance. Within a year I was promoted and currently I'm in line for another promotion but due to head count there's no room yet. I'm already the fastest promoted employee in the companies history which is just insane to think about. My previous boss before that couldn't even bother to listen to anything the team had to say...

If you want to be a good leader just take the few extra minutes and listen to what the team needs screw the corporate nonsense and build your team. When you do that your team is able to then lighten the workload coming from other directions so you can focus on corporate nonsense.

  • The big difference being that most people don't know or care to learn how to download their own OS. Installing a browser is quick and easy in comparison.

I've been out of the tech world a minute now so maybe its changed but last I knew no PCs came with Linux preinstalled and you can't just get a Linux OS disk to use to install.

  • Fuck mcdonalds and all that but honestly if a respected buisness had some fun and personality on their building why avoid it? Anyone can just put up a brick and mortar store it takes someone who actually cares to try and have fun.

Also Charlie's entertainment cheese is now very much like this with their few locations it's just very basic no fun houses or little rides it's just an arcade now with VERY muted colors.

  • It's a lightweight 3d printed exoskeleton of a car using drone like motors and fans. The journalist who went in person was not allowed to be close or watch someone get in or out of the vehicle. While in air it is pretty obvious there is no interior seating just what looks like 2 large fans on the bottom. To call this even a concept of a flying car is incorrect at best it's a custom drone.

  • Steve Wallis is my comfort creator. Genuine dude from Canada who does loads of camping from simple in the woods stuff to hiding in a roundabout overnight. He's had a rough go these last few years as he lost his wife, mother, and best friend all within a year and a half. This is a man just enjoying what mother nature has to offer.

  • They'll cancel the day of in some places within the US. Typically fast food and retail power tripping managers pull this because they don't know how to utilize the crew they have. This is why we tell everyone never to answer work calls on your day off.

  • Has anyone ever actually thought otherwise? I know plenty of people who even say "I know it's faster to call" before sending a text or something. I feel like you created a scenario that really doesn't exist. People don't dispute what is quicker just that they don't wanna do it that way.

  • This is a really solid solution. Everyone knows about the "did you turn it off and on again? " trope so instead of them pretending or what not you make them feel like they're problem solving with you.

  • AC maps are so incredibly empty as is and collectibles went from something kinda fun to hunt for to being the most insufferable thing they do that I feel this will only make it worse.

And yes I did enjoy hunting all 400 flags from the first game and the feathers in the 2nd.

I'll attempt to play this once it's on sale for $20 in 6 months.

  • AI will likely register the board as chess or checkers then on the first few moves realize it's chess and begin narrowing down spaces with or without the reflections then displaying potential moves. A big issue with AI is its ability to adapt to new information.

  • To specially tell the government "fuck you" it was sought after because of it also being a Chinese app and it's more of a deep state kind of app really regulated by the government. It's name comes from some red notebook that dude running the country is often seen carrying.

Tiktok itself isn't pushing it the creators are. Plenty of them getting banned though as the rules are strict.

Anything owned by major companies such as meta people don't wanna be apart of. What they claim tiktok is doing they are doing worse

  • The US politicians have destabilized the whole country. The apps just gives a place to be vocal. The US uses our data against us we just ignore it because they say they don't.

My first hydroponic grow using Hey abby grow box

The week by week growth for this strain has been super cool to see. This is wedding cake auto. About a month to go before she's ready. I like the quick turn around on this enclosure. I'm gonna be able to do 2 hydroponic grows then I'll be starting 6 soils in here before transplanting them to outside once those are outside ill begin my next hydroponic.

Any suggestions on my next fews strains? I'm still relatively new to this and smoking it.

Trying to identify this type of siding. Looking to start a large project the involves replacing some

The project entails blowing out 2 bay windows and putting standard size ones in place. Problem is we need to figure what to do about siding. The last 7 years we have looked at siding and have never came across these. I've considered doing cider slats painted this color but it's still gonna be an eye sore.

And for those who will suggest it, no I'm not going to reside my entire house.

Is there a way to make external links stand out?

I'm looking to make links stand out by any means. I find myself always opening them and having something like YouTube or other video services open and start playing while in places where that's not ideal.

Can banner we get banner ads adjusted?

With the ad adjustment came these banner ads on the top of comment sections and they are atrocious so much so I don't bother reading comments anymore. They all have the obnoxious white backgrounds and they flicker since they move. It feels light no matter my phones britness they are blinding and since content doesnt get loads of comments the banner is just distracting while reading. I'm on board with ads as I haven't paid to remove but this specific style changes how I'm using sync now.

What is needed to get jellyfin running as a server?

I'm working on learning about servers and such but it's a lot to take in. I'm looking to get a 5tb hard drive and install it into a network attached storage tower. What else would be needed to make this work? Links provided are what I'm thinking
