I feel like if AI would’ve written this, it would make more sense. This reads more like a fever dream.
Wow that’s cringe.
A non-issue??? That is absolutely an issue, because 90% of consumers won’t know about this fix. It’s outrageous that a consumer facing brand introduces such arbitrary vendor lock-ins, especially without reason. It’s just like HP with their ink lock. An absolute dick move and should not be supported in the slightest.
You can control a million things about life. You can change almost anything. It doesn’t mean you can do anything, let’s be real, but every second of your life you have a choice.
You can get up tomorrow and be a completely different person. Hate your job? Get rid of it. Hate your friends? Get rid of them. Go to a coffee shop and talk to new people. There is literally nothing stopping you from taking control over your life.
Yes, there’s limits. You won’t be a millionaire tomorrow. But that doesn’t mean you’re just sitting in the car being driven somewhere. Just get out the fucking car.
Of course they are an error, what are you talking about.
Error: A mistake; an accidental wrong action or a false statement not made deliberately
deep thoughts
I’m going out on a limb here and say that no woman ever thought about that.
Cyberpunk on a smartphone chip? I believe it when I see it.
I have this notch in my MacBook Pro display, and system tray icons just disappear behind it once I have too many of them. I need a third party app like Ice or Bartender to fix this bug, and honestly, it’s embarrassing for Apple to not have fixed this in so many years.
Permanently Deleted
It still impacts a lot of people because we here are in the minority and we can’t save them all. So it’s absolutely valid to have this piss you off.
I’m sure there’s some legal text somewhere that states that deleting only refers to the association with your user account, but the actual genome data will still be kept “anonymized.” There’s just no way in hell that they’re actually deleting it all. Their lawyers are smarter than that.
Wow. Remarkable. Magnificent. I’m so glad there’s an entire article about this minuscule feature.
Private Internet Access
Not so sure about that. I pretty much managed to achieve the second part, and generally I’m very happy with it. I don’t give a shit about what society wants me to do here.
But I’m still a mammal that needs some kind of social interactions from time to time. There’s no denying that it’s some kind of basic need that humans have. I don’t like it, but it’s just the way it is. So you need to at least have some sort of social life. I think the issue is that my need for social life is so small that it’s not enough to keep a friendship/relationship alive. So it becomes annoying to find people you enjoy talking to.
Not to mention that just doing nothing all day is fucking boring. Like really, really, dreadfully boring. There’s a reason why you get depression when being unemployed for too long. You have to have some level of stress in order to not go insane.
“We” are stupid enough to vote for idiots like these, so yes, “we” deserve it.
I know, you didn’t vote for it, because you’re special, blabla. But enough did, do and will.
Margot Robbie is fit
#NotMyRobbie
I agree, but it’s clear that OP doesn’t want a real solution, because those apparently are boring. Instead, they want to try something new. NVMe/TCP is something new. And it still allows for having VMs on one system and storage on another, so it’s not entirely off topic.
If you want to try something that’s quite new and mostly unexplored, look into NVMe over TCP. I really like the concept, but it appears to be too new to be production ready. Might be a good fit for your adventurous endeavors.
Personally I just love that they didn’t even do a remake. They didn’t even do a remaster. They just did a rerelease. The absolute bare minimum. And they even screwed that up.
Can’t go wrong with Proxmox. Though, I would recommend thinking about how you want to integrate Storage here. For most of the VMs you’re planning on running now that’s probably not a huge issue currently, but in the long run you’ll want to also replace Google Drive, Photos and Netflix And then you wish you’d thought about storage earlier.
Consider whether you want to deploy a separate NAS box (I can recommend TrueNAS) and do network storage in these cases (and how exactly that’s going to look like), or if you want to put it all on your Proxmox system and maybe run TrueNAS as a VM.
Edward Snowden slams Nvidia's RTX 50-series 'F-tier value,' whistleblows on lackluster VRAM capacity
I totally get it, I live next to that big pain in the ass as well. Luckily, he hasn’t invaded us yet, but I feel it’s only a matter of time. And what Snowden does here certainly doesn’t help.
But he could have just done nothing and lived a very happy life. Instead, he chose to give up his happy life to uncover the NSA scandal, knowing full well that it will absolutely wreck his life.
Personally, I think he did enough for the greater good there. This isn’t his war, and if he has to post some lies to get a bit of normalcy back in his life, I can understand that. I wish it wasn’t that way, but I can understand it.

Support for new „scaled“ sorting
In October, a new sorting mode was introduced: „scaled“
This allows sorting posts based on the size of the community in order to avoid the feed being dominated by large, active communities, and pushing smaller communities. This was one of the main blockers for me to move from Reddit, so I’m glad it’s finally implemented. Therefore, I would love to see this sort option be available in Avelon on supported instances.
Thanks!
