  • If they can sue for "damages," then I believe that the rest of us should be able to form a class action suit. It is established that the fuel producers were aware of climate change caused by their product and saught to obfuscate the discourse surrounding it. This action has had actual measurable damages that would bankrupt them if they were actually held to account. The federal and state governments also have cause to sue because much of this burden has been borne by tax dollars. In fact, California should file a countersuit to recoupe the costs on public health, increased fire danger, economic losses caused by drought, lost tax income from early death, etc.

  • I picked up the 32" pg a few weeks ago for about $800, so I'd imagine the potential low end for this model on the street will be even better, especially with the smaller size. The panel is fantastic so far. It really is incredible how far this tech has come in performance and pricing in a relatively short time. I wish I could speak to the HDR capabilities, but I'm having software related difficulties with HDR.

  • Well, I'm just glad my government contributed to and validated these militants' claims so they could execute a renal patient who went off the reservation after they funded and trained him. Now, children can continue to suffer and die from this entirely preventable disease.

  • Imagine buying a $100k unibody "truck" and talking about somebody else's frame breaking. Also, that bale is likely around 900lbs, which you wouldn't need a very big truck for, regardless.

  • Interesting, it looks like they came back briefly, in the comments, three years later claiming to be working on it, then nothing again. Also, it seems like they keep changing their name.

Would you consider Drauger OS noob friendly for gaming desktop?

I'm backing up my windows device today and plan on installing a Linux distro. My primary use for this PC is gaming, though I do complete some banking and other tasks I find cumbersome on my phone.

My technical skill level is "knows enough to get into the shit, but not enough to get out." I did use Ubuntu exclusively for a period of about 3-5 years over a decade ago.

One con I've found regarding this OS is that it has "no browser in Live environment," but I have no idea what that means.

If anyone has experience with this OS or good tips/recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
