  • I still feel like the dnc is going to lean heavy into Buttigieg. He's young, an eloquent speaker, a sharp debater. He clearly is down to play ball with the dnc establishment as they want him to (stepped aside for Biden to get a cabinet position) , and they hope that he's baggage free enough (Kamala and her Marijuana prosecutions) that progressives will vote for him. Yes, he's gay, and the hardcore magats won't like that, but I think older suburban voters would rather have someone sane that's gay than insane and straight.

  • I'm personally waiting for the inevitable fight over autonomous vehicles. The only way they truly work to our advantage is if nearly every car is self-driving. I absolutely foresee a "they're trying to take my Trans-am" resistance, people that will be fighting to the death not to lose the ability to drive their own car.

  • Border Line - British mockumentary that follows airport security forces. Even though The Office was British originally, this feels like they took they the US' Office and put their spin on that. There's definitely a Michael, a Dwight, a Pam and Jim etc. It's pretty fucking funny, but unfortunately they only made 2 seasons before it got canceled.

  • I live in San Diego, and I have met maybe 3 or 4 trans folks in my day to day vibes. Nobody has been weird or inappropriate. Nobody has been anything other than human in the nearly 20 California years I've lived here. The fact that there are national effing laws aimed at an actual handful of folks is absolutely wild to me. I'm a ~40 year old cis white male, but you will always have me in the fight, as will anyone else just trying to live life. Stay excellent to one-another, love y'all 💗

  • I have a Dyson smart air purifier / heater combo in my room. It has a mostly real time app that shows whether the air is healthy or unhealthy. One night I was laying in bed and felt some gargantuan ass thunder brewing, so I aimed my cheeks toward the Dyson and watched gleefully as my air quality went from green to red. Technology is amazing.
