Steal the content then undercut the people that produced it.
Lol why would Google pay billions for something that "promotes competition"? That's literally a lose-lose move. Shit suits say.
We've taken away this thing you've bought, here's a gift card so you can give us that money back again later.

Yes, that's true. It's also good enough to make an abstract concept more approachable while getting a kick out of it too. Honestly this is more of a "well akcshually" thing that someone who already knows how this works would point out (nobody has so far) than something that misleads students who don't get it. It works.

I mean yeah, it does have that problem, but even if it's not entirely accurate it's good enough to illustrate an otherwise abstract concept that's not exactly easy to understand for someone who's just getting started with programming and may not really be interested in it, rather looking to be an artist or game designer. Also humor really helps when it comes to learning. It does way more good than bad in my experience so far.

I literally use this meme in a slide when teaching while and do while.
Lmao I was about to look into using that thing for work
Forgive my ignorance, but isn't the point of reusing plastic to prevent or reduce plastic waste and contamination? Not necessarily carbon itself.
Try Armored Core 6, 100% worth it day one
"Just upgrade your PC bro"
I did, just buy a new one bro.
I'm playing Armored Core 6 rn and these give me PTSD flashbacks of the bosses' Coral weapons
The article presents almost no techical reason for Brave being bad, with the affiliate links thing being the worst offender. Don't like the crypto stuff? Turn it off. "CEO bad" doesn't mean much, there're very few leaders with clean hands, if any, and the product itself works well. It's not like Firefox doesn't have its fair share of issues both as a product and as a company/ "foundation"
Rehashed article, reposted on Lemmy. How about people stop telling others what browser to use and not to use?
We're going full circle
How does me thinking it's more sustainable to work fewer hours per day instead of more make me out to be a greedy businessman? I didn't even propose working more days, just fewer hours.
I mean yeah, that could absolutely work. My point isn't so much about the total amount of hours or days, just that it's not worth piling up too many hours just to work fewer days.
That's admittedly a great point. I think my record was either 12 or 16 hours a day, but it's incredibly exceptional. Anything above 8 hours of actual, productive work is the result of high enjoyment and focus or a deadline panic mode that's not sustainable. I think setting 6 hours as a baseline and being able to tweak from there would be ideal, but setting an expectation of over 8 hours as a tradeoff for fewer days is harmful imo.
This is not the way, it's better to work less hours per day than working more hours and fewer days. Productivity peaks at 6 hours, after that you're either less focused or just doing unproductive things. It's also gonna burn out harder.
