Cannibal Corpse - Make Them Suffer

Love this album, solidified their sound going forward until today and is probably the best at it (not a bad thing, they've always been super consistent!).
This is so tight. Can't wait to give it a spin, that FFO is tailor-made for me haha
I would've liked to see them go full caverndeath x Atheist but this album feels more like Dream Unending and Cynic. Was a little disappointed by that honestly but I'm glad to see them still kicking and seeing so many people enjoy them :)

2023 Favorites?
Hello c/deathmetal, I was wondering what some of your favorite releases are this year! I've personally been addicted to the new Diabolical Messiah (ffo: Angelcorpse) and Ascended Dead (ffo: Necrovore) albums. Very, very biased towards anything in the style of bands like Necrovore, Morbid Angel, Sadistic Intent, etc. so I'd love to also get some recs if anyone's been listening to stuff like that 😜

Interment - Infernal Damnation

Absolutely insane track that kicks off their side of the Funebrarum/Interment split release in 2007. Bombastic, chunky, masterful riffage
Permanently Deleted
Some good suggestions in here by @SilentViking and @DoomAxe already, but I'm gonna throw in some lesser known personal favorites as well if you're feeling a little more thirsty:
You can also check out legacy bands like Monstrosity who are still holding the flag high 😉
Amon Amarth - Without Fear

The solo at around the 3 minute mark is really short but gets stuck in my head far too often
