  • I can assure you i'm not a Russian propagandist. You can look through my post history if you don't believe me. I'd argue right now it's pretty clear that the comment I'm replying to is unapologetically the propaganda here. It's not even that I disagree with the sentiment. It's just a bad argument for winning over folks in the US, which is full of division, and diversity of culture and opinion.

Just, like, think for even a second about who you are trying to unite against billionaires. It includes black communities, and the police who have often terrorized and weakened those communities. It includes both those who are homeless and NIMBY communities who've constantly lobbied to deny those homeless any type of help. It includes immigrants, and blue collar workers who've constantly attacked immigrants.

Regardless of whether this violence was motivated by the oppression of the ruling class, these are still actively ongoing acts of violence between working class individuals and groups. That bad blood shouldn't be ignored. The tagline " the ruling class is our only enemy" rings hollow for those actively being attacked by other groups within the working class. The solution should not be to hand-wavingly say "let's all just get along and unite forces". It needs to be actively engaging with these groups, and winning people over by actually stopping the violence they experience locally.

  • I understand what you're trying to do with the 'class is the only thing that matters', but I don't think that is going to fly well in the US, specifically and especially when trying to get groups with troubled histories between one another to work together.

Trying to unify people by ignoring or erasing their personal or communal identities and histories is not going to be effective at unification IMO.

  • It is dependent on your cat. You need to know whether your cat is food-anxious or not before doing this kind of diet format.

Quite often cats have food anxiety, often from periods of food competition or just food scarcity. These food-anxious cats will eat all the dry-food in the bowl immediately. Some cats are so food-anxious, that they will eat to the point of vomiting, then continue eating after vomiting.

Grazer cats are not food-anxious, and will usually take small nibbles from the dry-food throughout the day. These cats are usually given one meal during the day to meet nutritional needs that their dry food may not provide. I've met these cats before, and they are able to stay a healthy weight without any negative health effects.

  • I mean, that's already the case for the majority of peoples' transactions now. It's a bit late to worry about it.

That said, we have our transaction badges (debit cards) to do transactions, and so long as we continue to use those, there won't be a mandatory requirement to have your phone on you. At the same time, all those transactions are still stored and linked to you by your card provider, so you still lose privacy.

On top of that, everyone brings their phones pretty much wherever they go regardless of transactions, because they're deeply helpful devices. That already gives you telemetry at all times, which can be logged in various systems.

TLDR: The loss of privacy happened as early as 2 decades ago. It's just becoming worse as time goes on.

  • Some tips are:

    • Buy from local farms if you can. The fewer steps from you, the fewer chances for the food to be contaminated.
    • Cook everything. Spinach and other greens will not be clean from simply being washed. No chances, you cook everything like you cook chicken.
    • Grow what you can. Sometimes all you can get away with is an herb plant, sometimes you can have tubers.

These types of obstacles are usually better tackled as a community than individualistically. Talking with your neighbors and friends so you can all work together on this stuff is usually your best bet.

  • I think of quake 4. I like quake 4. It was not directed towards the original quake audience, though, which is why it's a bad quake game. It's kinda the same story with Quake Wars: Enemy Territory.

I'd say it's a very similar thing with Doom 3. Q4 and D3 are both cinematic, linear, horror shooters, and they're awesome in that regard. They fail at being movement shooters for the most part.

    Quantum Bicycle Society?

We are an international physics think tank delving into the nature and properties of subatomic particles and their interactions. Our members are responsible for advances in nanotechnology, solid state physics, electron microscopy, and water purification.

Quicycle - The Quantum Bicycle Society

This is a question regarding atomic and quantum physics, and any academic input would be appreciated. I am wanting some input on what level of trust I should put into this "Quicycle" group. It's a think tank comprised of supposed Doctors from CERN and research groups, and states their names. alot of their stuff raises red flags for me, though.

To preface, I was working on understanding how exactly, in 3d space, electron orbitals affect the magnetic field of their atoms. I'm wanting to better understand why atoms like Iron are more magnetic than others. I am not heavily plugged into the physics community, though - I'm mostly just learning out of personal curiosity.

I stumbled upon this group's periodic table of atomic orbitals, and it seems accurate on its face to a layman like myself. However, I start trying to research some of the terms and they're proposing things I've never heard of like pd-hybridization (where the p and d electron orbitals
