The sources of these pieces are literally the Ukrainian government itself. The journalists reporting based on these sources work for some of the richest people on the planet. If you think RT isn't reputable for being Russian state media, you cannot seriously assert that The Ukranian government and the private mouthpieces of billionaires are even slightly more reputable. Ukraine especially has been known widely for making shit up, even NATOids admit this.

this is a really misinformed and reductive understanding of the situation. this is a conflict that has been happening since 2014, and arguably much longer if you consider that Ukraine is being used as a proxy by NATO which was literally founded to be an aggressor against the Russians and their allies before most of us were born.

I'll admit, this video particularly stands out to me because it is an honest attempt by a team of professional artists to integrate AI into their workflows, knowing that if they don't, they will be less likely to keep getting work in their industries.

There are certainly many more people using AI with no intention or technical expertise who are a part of ending art workflows that technical artists and other professional have spent years training to do. The industry has already been rough since 2020, finding work is hard without AI replacing jobs.

These production capitalists are choosing lower quality AI amalgamations because they are "good enough" for someone who's intention is primarily making money, and they cost exponentially less than a human. This trend will continue to repress the quality of art by and large, but the technology itself isn't bad and it can offer an opportunity for an independent art rebirth if artists learn to use it for themselves and promote their own works like the music video example. The problem is certainly with capitalism and not the technology in my eyes, but I do think the capitalist use of AI will have an overall harmful effect.

OP, you are trying to explain things to the wrong people. 90% of the white people, or just the $50k+ annual salary holder of any kind, they can't hear it. 90% of the Latin american immigrants I talk to, they lap it up and give it right back. I've had random plumbers come by to fix a toilet end up talking with me about how American imperialism destroyed their country which is why they had to leave and come here, instead of being at home where they would rather be. The most marginalized and oppressed people are the most receptive, they will also hold reactionary positions by default but through organizing and mutual aid, trust can be built and those things can be educated away with time.

Just use protection and take prep.

Ideally get proof of recent STI checks from whoever you are playing with, and don't be afraid to ask how recently people have been tested and what their recent history is like. It feels awkward at first but is one of the most important steps towards claiming your sexuality in a healthy way. I think the issue we have is that there is fascism as a material outcome and Fascism as an ideological movement that arose in Italy and Germany which people still identify with. A goose-stepping swastika wearing guy and Trump are not the same person.

Trump could still choose to do everything that fascists did or would do because it benefits him and never think of himself as a fascist or someone who identifies with Hitler or Mussolini.

He certainly has fascists who advise him, but they likely aren't saying "Donald, we have to do this because it is how we achieve a fascist world, which is our grand plan." They probably just tell him he will make a lot of money as will all his friends. It's a good idea economically.

I think this is because he is American, and America was the original fascists before that word or idea we identify with Italy and Germany existed, and that everyone who accepts or promotes Americanism is a fascist materially because they are accepting and promoting the same material outcomes, but calling it being pro-American without even imagining it is intentionally fascist.

There are enough real fascists around to use this to their advantage and accelerate fascism, and enough people who think they are the farthest thing from fascist but accept fascism because it isn't marketed as fascism, but as making themselves richer and their lives easier. If you are American, you accept everything fascism does, as long as it isn't called that. This has been the case since the 13 colonies, since before America existed as a nation, and so now it goes totally unnoticed

Well, for anyone who isn't a citizen then it would be very easy to have murdering a government official be used against them. Maybe slightly less so for citizens but still a big risk, assuming you make it out alive. Typically they outnumber the people they are kidnapping and are likely all armed themselves.

I mentioned it in another thread on the topic but the only real semblance of a viable strategy I can think of would be to have armed patrols like the Panthers had, and some kind of hotline for rapid response deployment. It would be very challenging to organize this, but I've seen some cases of people being de-arrested at protests recently by other protesters acting swiftly. I think I saw a report of an ICE kidnapping going that way too.

From the videos I've seen lately, no they do not need to wear anything identifying themselves. I have seen several videos of plainclothes agents with no badges. Maybe they are supposed to but they don't seem to be held to that

If you and the Pentagon agree about pretty much anything geopolitical (China is committing a genocide, Cuba/ Venezuela/ DPRK need democracy, Israel has a right to defend itself Slava ukrani, etc) then you have truly taken the side of the enemy and your pseudo leftist persona doesn't absolve you. Being a liberal who likes leftist aesthetics doesn't make a comrade, and the idea that someone saying "I am a leftist" is enough to say you are on the same side is exactly why so many movements have been infiltrated and destroyed from the inside.

Either way, focus more on organizing with people in your community and less on anything online
