  • How is the name pronounced? All-ovah like all over? Uh lova, like Chicago for a lover? Sounds like the name of a prescription drug.

  • As a cybersecurity pro who primarily deals with email security right now (in the sense that there is basically none)

  • Just wanted to say thanks for telling me this! Solved my issue and I wouldn't have thought of it straight away at all.

  • Yeah Relay works still and is going in a subscription model

  • Glad you said this. People demanding large instances like this one defederate from stuff they don't personally like are, frankly, very mislead and trying to be little dictators. That's not their decision to make.

  • Needlessly aggressive internet arguments and flame wars for no reason

  • It will still sell by the millions :(

  • Another similar question: why has executive pay skyrocketed when it's exactly opposing to (most) companies best interests? Also, you could merely hire a qualified candidate from within the company who is already familiar with how things work and pay them still six figures, but not millions or billions. It seems kind of insane that one person is "worth" that much to a board.

Discussion: What makes your build unique?

One quirky detail of my build: it has a tiered storage system through FuzeDrive. What that means is I have an 8 TB shucked hard drive and a 128 GB SSD "fuzed" together through some old software by Enmotus that is no longer available for purchase iirc. This means the SSD acts as a cache for my huge 8 TB drive. As a result, I can just install basically any game I want to my massive 8 TB drive without worrying about space, and if I play that game more than once or twice, it'll automatically move to the SSD portion for faster access.

    Some ideas:

    • Is this using used hardware that has a story?
    • Got an unusual configuration that isn't normally seen (Dual RTX 3070 for example)
    • Did you paint it or add special lighting?

  • Square Home is utterly fantastic. For those that have a Fold like me, it's compatible with that too :D I made it look a lot like Windows Phone because I loved that vibe.

  • Pls document more details here in case they get deleted/removed from reddit

  • We should probably call them communities because, well, that's what they are so we don't confuse the noobs. Also, I want to emphasize that this definitely isn't reddit

  • What are the potential downsides to this? In other words, why isn't it like this stock?

  • God I hate how they won't LEAVE ME ALONE while fishing and mining. Even when invisible they just swarm you!

  • I'm actually in awe of how well they handled this choice because each one of them has fantastic ironclad reasons why. I chose Lotus because I viewed her as wanting to "reclaim" that role for herself. She isn't Margulis, she isn't Natah anymore, she is the Lotus who protects and stabilizes the Origin system.

  • I've done a few really great ones. I got the UBolt Pro for a fancy lock I can track who accesses, auto lock, unlock remotely if needed, etc. It's very handy for visitors because I assign their access code as the last 4 digits of their phone number so they never forget. I got Zigbee smart bulbs everywhere, but if I were to do it again, I would do smart switches in any places I didn't need dimming or individual bulb control. Here's another great idea: FANS. Ceiling fans, desk fans, whatever. You can connect good Vornado desk fans to a smart switch so you can get cooling on demand without getting out of bed. Lastly, an Aquasana under sink water filter. Only filter I know of that removes PFAS and PFOAs and is third party certified to do so. Good delicious safe water.
