In Australia it won't save card details. And it can't natively create app shortcuts for things like Gmail, keep, whatsapp etc.
I put up with it but it's a pain compared to chrome and edge.
Cow juice.
I've only got a Compaq one.
Ok. Who was the watery bint this time?

Lemmy app that merges comments for the same article URL?

When scrolling all it's common to see the same article posted several times, each from a different community and most with zero comments.
Is there an app that will recognise the post URLs, show that post only once in the scroll but display all the comments, perhaps with each having the community name prepended?
I usually only read the comments so there's a lot of useless scrolling if skipping zero comment posts.
Alternatively, a filter that only shows posts with comments.
The triple diamond Mitsubishi logo is missing.
Perhaps "The Missing Postman" - not sure if it actually got canned or is just unknown though.
Was it used by fax machines?
God damn Loch Ness Monster, get your own damn memory!
Elodimir?
Sounds like a Lord of the Rings character.
He's not the president. He's the ruler.
Hehe. On mine the cruise, high beam and fog light indicators don't dim with the rest of the dash board.
Luckily they're all along the top row in the centre, so I drape the glasses cleaning cloth over the dashboard to form a little curtain.
I'm in a rural area.

Where did you move from?
But trust me on the sunscreen.

I wonder how long before other countries will not allow Americans to visit...

Kelvinator Opal C.2000 back from the dead.

Well it's not an overly inspiring photo, but then what white good is?
Purchased some time before 2000 this fridge survived a move from the outback to the city on the back of a cattle truck, along with cattle, a Simpson top loader and many other household effects.
In March 2022 it decided to stop cooling. I was away so the missus bought an Inalto fridge - quite similar to that red one that drove Technology Connections mental.
When I got back I took the old fridge apart to see if it was the thermostat that was sick. The tip had rusted off, letting out the gas that operates the bellows in the thermostat, so ordered and fitted a new one. Success. Kept it in the shed just in case.
Now the Inalto struggles to get below 11°C, so have dragged the Kelvinator out of storage and it's back to full time duty again.
As for the Inalto, it's freezing up at the top corner of the unit and only drawing 30 watts. Will do some research, but suspect it's not fixable. At under three years old, that's a

Thomas the Pirate Engine.

Found in a shopping mall in Armidale, Australia.

Restored this animated fish thing.

Decided to restore this old thing from out in the shed. It was in the weather for a couple of years, and I think it's 20+ years old.
Replaced the pump with a USB powered 5 watt silent one.
Replaced the halogen lamp with an LED one.
Cleaned as much as I could.
Seems to be working well. How long the $12 ebay pump lasts remains to be seen.

Johnny Castaway is in a strange world!

Johnny Castaway is in a strange world!
For some reason the screen is not resetting between scenes, giving him an unusually busy world. It's running 24/7 on XP but it's a 16 bit app.

Johnny Castaway is having a moment...

Day and night he runs around on top of the fish tank.
Maybe one of the coconuts was bad...
