Eh, zonder plan is het überhaupt lastig om te praten over wat er moet gebeuren en wat de gevolgen (goed en slecht) zijn. Ik ben helemaal voor het afschaffen van fossiele subsidies, maar ik snap ook dat als we ze morgen afschaffen daar best ernstige korte termijn gevolgen aan kunnen zitten. Dat wordt nu dus ook als argument gebruikt door tegenstanders: "Je kunt niet zomaar alle subsidies afschaffen! Dan hebben we morgen geen zink / bakstenen / transportsector meer!" Als er eenmaal zo'n plan ligt, inclusief kosten en baten, kunnen we een veel concretere discussie voeren over hoe je dit zou moeten aanpakken en gezien er zonder deze motie mogelijk geen plan komt, vind ik dat we er best positief over mogen zijn.

I agree with most of the comment, but this is just an oversimplification. I'm sure that you can build a nuclear power plant in 5 years, if you have the requisite infrastructure, engineers and knowledge. Germany did not have any of those in sufficient amount to build anywhere near enough nuclear reactors between the decision to switch to coal & gas in around 2011 and the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Even France wouldn't be capable of that in such a short amount of time.

Had they made that decision 30 years ago, sure, but in such short time? No way.
