Fitik

Hello! That's my main mbin account, my alt is @Fitik, I also have a furry/personal account at @fitik

I'm just a regular person from Israel🇮🇱, a queer, and a #Fediverse enthusiast! I'm a liberal

I don't post much stuff, but when I do I usually post about #tech because I've mostly given up on trying to argue on there

  • Honestly I am wondering too, we also defederate ani.social , another thematic instance, they seem to be well moderated, so I'm unsure about the reasons

  • And the source is..? Random Twitter account? How is it even allowed there?

  • Great to see! Existed to see better interoperability between Threadiverse software! Well be cool to see NodeBB users posting in Lemmy/Mbin/Piefed communities

  • Yes, but Kbin used to show downvotes too. I don't think there should be an illusion that they're private, while they can be exposed.

  • You can already see votes if you're using different software anyways, check how it looks on my mbin instance, I can click "Activity" and see it already.

  • I don't think it's something limited to Fedi, but internet in general. The whole social media "algorithm" promotes such posts, an edgy extreme post filled with hate will get more reactions and upvotes, than a "lame" conventional opinion, so you're more likely to see it. I am not sure how to even fix it, I think it's one of the fundamental problems if the internet, but this is how it is

  • Can you say that I'm suck at drawing? That was supposed to be a dragon (And that's an arrow above the eyes)

  • It's probably an alt of a hexbear user, they literally wrote that "they hate Lemmy.cafe" - https://lemmy.cafe/comment/10653709

  • Reddit went public in 2024, soooo-

  • If you want to follow this channel, you can follow it there (Works well with MBin and Piefed) - [email protected]

  • I use CherryPick, my instance is kitty.social . Fun fact: When I first joined it was a Firefish/Calckey instance, then Sharkey instance and now a CherryPick instance. I like it, even tho iceshrimp.NET looks promising

  • I like how *key (Misskey and especially it's forks) look, it's like my fav UI of all social media in general, and it's customizable too.

  • Lemmy is all we have right now

Is it? I am reading your comment from MBin, and there's also Piefed so there is a choice. They don't have as many apps as Lemmy, but maybe if they'd have more users more apps would be keen to support them?

  • Thunder is available on both platforms as well, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't look as good on IOS as IOS-specific apps

  • 15$/month, I'd donate more, but I'm poor

  • Nice! Sure, I have a Codeberg account so why not
