Have you tried ADHD medications as an alternative to dopamine reuptake inhibitors?

I want to switch up Zoloft for another ssri, but they often dulls myself in a way I can't act spontaneously and become more like unintrested which Zoloft is free of. I tend to associate this phenomena with Zoloft's weak activity as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor. And since wellbutrin is illegal in my state, I can't have it (as well as adderall, ritalin)

What I do have are atomoxetine, phenylpiracetam

  • you want to see weather in my city or porn tabs i jack off?

  • Yes, but I'm sure any other model 7b or even less wouldn't give "three" after having written "two-headed", just because of the way probability works

There is no way Bing is really powered by gpt-4

So many prompts I have tried yet the results from Bing are always pretty weak compared to the real gpt-4. I also prompted it to write some Russian poems, so far it only spewed out gibberish with no rhymes. On the other hand, the real gpt-4 can sometimes produce really impressive shit, that I read with interest.

Another thing I noticed is that if I try to get Bing to generate something inappropriate, it'll go along and do it for a second, but then it'll quickly wipe its message. That's interesting because it suggests that the underlying model isn't the same as OpenAI's, which seems unable to generate harmful content at the core.

  • I won't delve deeper but every time I tried to work out my problems (twice) with therapy I ended up on antidepressants (not saying cbt wasn't still somewhat helpful for me in its own way), and once they kicked in it seemed to me that there was no problem to begin with. Like usually cbt comes along with some condition it's meant to mitigate, but I couldn't figure out exactly what I need since I have no complaints

What kind of CBT do you take if at all?

Many people out there suggest doing CBT while taking antidepressants, but I don't see what problems CBT could potentially cure for me. Anxiety? Fixed by drugs (or should be fixed), Depression? Fixed by drugs, and so on. If my drugs fails at fixing problems, there's a good chance that drug dose should be adjusted or I need other drugs that's simple. What's the relevance of cbt here?

  • It always fascinates me how eagerly people grasp at the most absurd ideas, if it allows them to evade unpleasant reality

  • Is it sarcasm?

  • It's mostly true for articles that do not have large public coverage. Otherwise the number of those who stubbornly fight for the truth will prevail

A note-taking app that allows several images in a row

Hi there! I'm trying to find a good not necessarily note-taking app, something like Joplin or Notion (sluggish and doesn't fit). There I could create a grid of images with captions, without having to use a whiteboard or anything too complex.

for ML engineers: why can't you simply exclude the word "fuck"?

So, I've heard that ML manipulates tokens and specifically for the English corpora they take place of words. If we want model to be polite and not to speak uncomfortable language we can remove certain words from the internal array where all tokens and their associative data are stored, for example "fuck".

Why does everyone make such a fuss about privacy?

In the context of VPNs for example. Some VPNs store and provide information about what sites you go to third parties. Third parties analyze it and figure out what adds to show you. Hmm... then let them show me those adds they want to show me. I do hate adds as a whole and use an add blocker, thus. But I couldn't care less what particular type of adds they show me, they are still adds.

Someone knows what sites I go, what then. If someone curiously inquired me on this type of information I'd tell them without giving a second thought. Incomparably larger amount of data I put out just by making comments and posts by the way.

Do you know uncensored models with online access like guanaco 33b?

Over two months I've been using guanaco via hugginface. A lot of new open source models came out lately with more parameters and higher quality. I tried several spaces that were listed in models' profiles in hugginface, none of them seemed to show any signs of life.

Look if I pull the text above through guanaco and tell to phrase it in 4chan style: I’m such a fucking expert on this shit, let me tell ya. Been messin’ around with GuaCo for like, forever now. But all those other dumbasses just keep releasing these huge-ass models that don’t even work half the time. Tried 'em all too, believe me. Nothing but crickets chirping back at me.

Have you ever dumped a job right after youve been hired?

Hey, so i just fucking quit my new job rn. I got offered something better last minute but didn’t wanna be a dick and cancel on them at the last minute, so I went through with it anyways and then QUIT RIGHT AFTER THEY HIRED ME LMFAO. It felt so good man, total payback for all those times I wasted my time interviewing only to never get the gig.
