Not actually as conclusive as the black/white in the original image, but I find the best spot in traffic to judge people is a roundabout.
A normal lane change can be dangerous to the driver if they don't use the turn signal. When exiting a roundabout however the only reason to use your signal is to notify other drivers, with no benefit for yourself. So if someone does not signal there (and that is quite common) it's a pretty good indicator about what kind of person they are. (self-centered or half-asleep)
I wonder how plug-in hybrids are that bad in terms of gas-to-electric ratio. Might need a proper source on that. Most usage should be from work-home travel, and that should be reachable with just electric power.
Maybe the solution is not simply to block hybrids, but to solve the reasons they don't drive electric. This could be putting more chargers at home/workplace or something else entirely (idk what the analysis pointed out as reason)
Same with power generation/grid. The EU is finally realising that if they want everyone to go electric they are massively fuckt in terms of clean electricity generation and power distribution. Meanwhile we had china's power grid as a case study in uni because it's way ahead of ours.
Zwarte Piet is 100% a slave with all the traditional symbolism around the character. The fact that people call their role 'helper' or 'assistant' really does not change anything about the historical background of "zwarte Piet"
We are basically portraying a white man with black slaves as a great thing, and celebrate it. Combine that with the fact that it's mainly directed at kids who are very easily influenced in such regards... It's a bad tradition.
I know that for 99% of the people this probably isn't the message they want to send, but even when not malicious it will influence the way children look at the world.
You should go read the blog post explaining how everything works! They basically pull out a shipping container of tricks to establish a connection when necessary. (Depends heavily on firewalls/NAT on the path)
For real, they think the only solution to cars endangering pedestrians and bikes is to ban both bikes and pedestrians... As God intended eagle screeches and flies overhead
I love taxes, I would gladly pay even more taxes if that meant everyone would be provided for.
Except at the moment our taxes here in Belgium are already quite high, and our tax system is a complete cluster fuck with plenty of loopholes for the strongest shoulders to not have to carry their weight. Some part of that is even fraudulent, and they're trying to get a law through right now to find those cases of fraud more efficiently... But it is being opposed by parts of the govt with privacy as the excuse (which I'd normally agree with, except what they're trying to change is not that egregious afaik and the ratio of found vs investigated fraud is insane)
That's why you don't substitute the goats blood. It can be hard to find compared to other requirements... So yeah, a rookie mistake. If you're able to keep your soul make sure to follow all instructions next time.
For Visual Studio, the new release (2026) has improved the startup times. As for your other points... They still stand I'm afraid. Actually it got worse in terms of AI if you hate it, basically half the release notes were about AI this AI that.
Except the memory they're planning to manufacture is not the memory you can just slot into your pc.
