  • Ok, so what happened here is that police added letters to the photo explaining what each symbol means. Some idiots on twitter thought those added letters are the claimed MS-13 tattoo. It's not clear if Trump also thought that those letters were actually tattooed, probably yes.

  • In my opinion the huge difference between this generation and all previous ones is that content is no longer vetted by anyone. It used to be that to put something in front of kids it had to approved by some sane adult. If a TV station marketed to children something that most parents would not approve they would face protests or maybe even legal action. On social media any asshole can post literally anything and millions of kids will consume it without any supervision.

  • I definitely don't love the look. There are tons of better looking watches but analog perpetual calendars are crazy expensive, classic digital watches are ugly and smart watches have to be charged regularly. The only other brand I was considering was Festina but their connected watches are huge. It's crazy but g-shock was the only thing I found that had digital date in dd/mm format and didn't have heart rate monitor.

  • After something like a year of searching I finally got:

    • solar powered, I never have to charge or change battery
    • analog face with digital date, no need to adjust the date every month but looks good
    • date in dd/mm format
    • no GPS, no heart rate monitor, no notifications

Couldn't find anything else that would tick those boxes.

  • I think the whole point of Paint and Notepad is that they are installed by default. They are there to give you the most basic functionality MS can offer without charging you extra. Now they are simply trying to get some extra money by funneling users to AI/MS 365.

  • I think at this point Trump is like a giant gorilla in the room. You have to distract him with something and hope he will not get angry or interrupt anything serious. He doesn't really understand what's going on around him, he just randomly picks up things and plays with them until he gets bored. You can never interrupt or correct him but real work happens behind his back.

  • EU could take the opportunity and become the new power-broker but clearly they can't shake off the "I can't tell anyone what to do, that wouldn't be nice" mentality. China will not hesitate to step in.
