  • The point of this method is that the music it self contains data that cannot be heard by our ears, but that causes the ai to encode the data completely wrong.

Like others have said. Watch the video, I swear it's interesting and most likely worth your time. :)

  • Adresses almost all of my gripes.

Only thing I would have wished for was the ability to double press on buttons for hold, so I can perform for instance punch in effects without using two hands (or doing finger gymnastics)

  • Commandment 1: Tho shalt, and shalt is a pretty big word you know, it means that you should, but it's really like you must. And I think you must, because it's really important to do the things you know, because they are really important and you should do them.

Commandment 2: Because if you didn't then you wouldn't have done it, and then it didn't get done, so you should do it, and other should do it.

    Etc etc

  • Permanently Deleted

  • I mean, your non-upgraded coins being worthless should be a pretty solid motivator.

  • All these "look at the thing the ai wrote" articles are utter garbage, and only appeal to people who do not understand how generative ai works.

There is no way to know if you actually got the ai to break its restrictions and output something "behind the scenes" or it's just generating the reply that is most likely what you are after with your prompt.

Especially when more and more articles like this comes out gets fed back into the nonsense machines and teaches then what kind of replies is most commonly reported to be acosiated with such prompts...

In this case it's even more obvious that a lot of the basis of its statements are based on various articles and discussions about it's statements. (That where also most likely based on news articles about various enteties labeling Musk as a spreader of misinformation...)

  • I would agree with you if the same companies challenging copyright (protecting the intellectual and creative work of "normies") are not also aggressively welding copyright against the same people they are stealing from.

With the amount of coprorate power tightly integrated with the governmental bodies in the US (and now with Doge dismantling oversight) I fear that whatever comes out of this is humans own nothing, corporations own everything. Death of free independent thought and creativity.

Everything you do, say and create is instantly marketable, sellable by the major corporations and you get nothing in return.

The world needs something a lot more drastic then a copyright reform at this point.

  • I mean it's a effective way to prove that "the government is broken"....

  • Yes switch2 definitely is the trigger for what ever evaluation internally at Nintendo causing this.

  • I checked the comments just to make sure someone mentioned eidetic memory.

The "um achually" approach is to point out that "eidetic" is actually the correct term and that "photographic" is a colloquialism.

Why do I have to disable NSFW two places?

I really like the quick toggle in the menu to disable NSFW.

But I find that even with NSFW set to disabled, I get a few posts showing up.

Only if I also disable NSFW from the settings does Eternity truly hide NSFW.

Is there any reason or logic behind this?

(The posts are flagged as NSFW, but somehow they still show up)

  • My take on this is that gold points was a method to drive digital purchases over physical media.

Nintendo gets all the revenue and don't have to share with retailers, also digital is a lot cheaper then physical media to produce and distribute.

Now in 2025 digital numbers are so high that they no longer feel the incentive is worth it's cost.

Also I would personally reserve the term "anti-consumer" for other more sinister things then removing a free perk or bonus... Nintendo have lots of practices that fall under this term, I don't feel this is one.

Especially since they are giving quite a lot of room for you to spend whatever gold points you have on your account. Anti consumer would be outright refusing to cash in the point right away.

  • Peak

  • I was just thinking the other day that the plot of the matrix would make a lot more sense now.

The ai is running a simulation of the 90s to keep growing because everything after that is tainted with internet memes and increasing amount of ai slop.

  • There are more sinister ways to do this then sim swapping.

There is too little control over nodes in modern cell networks.

  • It's fascinating. If you have to spend huge amounts money and effort on monitoring and scewing public opinion... Perhaps it is time for some fucking introspection...(I know the biggest bastards in this system are incapable of that... But still...)

  • This. It is inconvenient, but it does help with the issue that systems constantly get compromised and credentials stolen.

I wish companies would support more user friendly technology like ubikey or similar instead...

  • Also SMS is extremely insecure, and relatively easy to spoof/steal.

  • I use a notepad in many meeting at work to not be a complete pain in the ass.

If I write it down it's not lost, and if it's actually a good point I can bring it up at a good time or circle back to it.

Just finished my first completely improvised live set. 2 hours and 19 minutes of various chill vibes.

I have been dreaming of a setup where i could just flow live and go where the music takes me and with my newly completed Korg Volca Suitcase, i have something that can help me achieve this.

Thank you to all of you who popped in during the live session!

Evening Jam 14 - Summer Vibes - EP133, MICROMONSTA 2, Exquis. MPE performance.

This one started out in my backyard, deciding I wanted to try to sample my ukulele on the EP133. It then sorta just grew into this summer track.

Setup: EP133: Ukulele sample, drums and a few other samples. Micromonsta 2: Leads, custom patches by me. Exquis: Midi controller in MPE mode controlling the MM2.

MM2 goes into the input on the EP133. Recorded directly into OBS on a Motu M2 interface. Postproduction: Slight EQ adjustments in Davinci Resolve before render.

    Evening Jam 13 - Chiptune Fun - EP133 - MicroMonsta 2 - Exquis

This one starting out with me trying to get some retro/chiptune sounds out of the MicroMonsta 2. Then i though "hey, i bet some crunchy 8-bit drums would work great on the EP133.. then one thing led to another.. and suddenly there was a Jam :D

Micromonsta 2: Lead and performed bass. Bitimbral set to split, so i can play both parts on the Exquis. (On the last part i set it to stack and play both presets combined)

EP133 Drums, Sequenced Basslines + chip style arp in B section.

Evening Jam 13 - Chiptune Fun - Live Electronica Jam - No Computer

New Jam! This time its all about the retro gaming feel. Started out as me having fun making new chiptune-like presets on the MicroMonsta 2, ended up as a Jam. 😎🤖

Evening Jam 12 - First recorded jam with EP133. Featuring: Volca FM2 + Roland S1 (sampled) - YouTube

This is my first recorded Jam with the EP133. I have really mixed feelings about the EP133. On one hand its really fun to play around with, and make cool beats, but at the same time i find the Live performance experience to be, tricky at best. It requires way to many simultaneous button presses to perform things, and there are not enough options for scene transitions. (I want an option to change on pattern end, not just bar/tick)

As such this is not an optimal Jam, as i probably would have needed more time to rehearse, and in the end i also ended up cutting out a part in the middle of the video because awkward transitions and overall performance was not interesting to listen to.

I'm not quite ready to give up on the EP133, but I think i would need some really substantial software updates to be properly useful for me, and not just something fun to goof around with.... The frustrations in live play just makes me want to put it away and pull out the Circuit Tracks. :/

    Evening Jam 11 - First Jam with the Exquis - #dawless - C.Tracks, Roland S1, Exquis,Zebralette3 - YouTube

This was a really fun setup. I just recently got the Intuitive Instruments Exquis and this is my first real Jam with it. The expressiveness of the Exquis combined with the nice flow working with the Circuit tracks made this setup very fun to work with.
