  • That’s not entirely true. University assignments are scanned for signs of LLM use, and even with several thousand words per assignment, a not insignificant proportion comes back with an ‘undecided’ verdict.

  • The further get down this thread, the more you sound like a person I don’t want to deal with. And looking at the downvotes, I’m not the only one.

If you want people blocking you, perhaps followed by communities and instances blocking you as well, carry on.

Missing comments - how does it work?

Just looking at this post as an example, on lemmy.world show it has 29 comments, but when i open it, there are now only 3 or 4. I replied to one comment, the user i replied to got banned, and the whole comment tree is gone from lemmy.world. Other instances still show all comments, including those from the banned user and my reply. I think it’s very confusing when a single post appears with different comments on different instances, and have no idea how this works.

Edit: why am i forced to upload a photo for a new post?

my first anduril light (TS10 4000k)

My first anduril light, and first small light. Really happy with it. Thanks to you wonderful people, and the ones we left behind on Reddit, I ditched the cheap supermarket zoomies and got my first decent light from Zak’s list, a wowtac a2s. Good recommendation, great light but angled lights aren’t my favourite. Next one was an fc11. Also from zak’s list and another solid recommendation. Love it, just wish it had better runtime and lower moonlight. I use it mainly for dog walking in woods and fields, and it is good for that purpose. This TS10 fixes my moonlight issue for indoor use and is easily bright enough on full to be my backup if the FC11 ever fails me while out.
