Gandalf is involved in "most" of Warner Bros.' new The Lord of the Rings film ideas and may even return in the second incoming live action film after The Hunt for Gollum.

Hmmm, I’ll need to see a little more before deciding if I’m pulling this or not. Looks intriguing though.
I have been very disciplined with figure purchases lately but there are a lot of quality TMNT figures coming out. These look pretty dope for those who want another set.
Looking forward to Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell. The Frank Miller variant is pretty solid too.
That first arc of The Resistance was really cool.
Some Signings from Planet Comicon Kansas City
Signings by Phil Hester, Andy Parks, Joe Quesada, Jerome Opeña, and Scottie Young.
We bought the car to save money on gas due to regular work trips since my wife’s car also had a good trade in value. It was and remains largely a financial and pragmatic decision. The car was purchased in 2022 and the political situation was different from now.
If we were in the same situation last year or this year, we likely wouldn’t have purchased a Tesla as other solid options are now available. We get a lot of utility out of the car and it is now paid off. Again, back to finances and pragmatism, not ideology. If current issues lead to insurance rates going up to an unacceptable amount, we will strongly consider selling the Tesla and acquiring another EV.
Peace.
The seven seas be calling, argh! 🏴☠️
On a human level and as an owner of a 2021 Tesla Model 3 that was purchased second hand to in part not give Musk anymore money, I feel for the innocent people who are being harassed or prejudiced by others who are not acting in a kind or compassionate way. As the article states, vandalism and violent acts undermine more effective peaceful protests and boycotts. Damaging the cars on Tesla lots will just put more money (from insurance) in Tesla’s coffers. Please people, don’t take out your rage against innocent people to make some point. There are more effective and humane ways to do that. Choose peace.
One of the best actors in the business in my opinion.
For those that enjoyed the song at the end of episode 1 and haven't looked it up yet, https://www.mensjournal.com/entertainment/daredevil-born-again-episode-1-ending-song-staring-at-the-sun.
R2 could be the car that replaces our reliable, albeit old, 2002 Honda CR-V. May be swapping a gold CRV-PO for a white R2-D2 in 2026.
Seconded.

I used Voyager for a long time, but have been using Arctic for a while now and will probably stick with it. It’s UI/UX isn’t quite as refined as Voyager, but it has feature parity and feels much more like a native app. I’m pretty sure Voyager was originally a web app and in some ways doesn’t behave like a native iOS app. It’s solid though and is actively developed.

As a child of the 80s, it is a real treat to add this to the collection. “Wings of silver. Nerves of steel…”
Good guess. Regardless, I’m eyeing whatever this car may be along with Honda’s first concept 0 suv as a replacement for a 2002 CR-V with just over 200,000 miles.
I understand your concerns. I’m optimistic given the layered dialogue between Fisk and Murdock in the cafe and the excellent action sequence shots. Hopefully the awesome cast members get their time to shine and give the show’s legacy its due.
Hopefully the new anime restores the quality luster to the franchise. Regardless, please don’t make anything unless it’s faithfully adapted and screenplays are well written instead of made up as they go.
Love that someone beat me to this! 🫡

Fair take.
Exactly.
The panels are from the recently released Absolute Batman #1 from DC Comics. The word bubbles in a couple panels were edited to tie it to Star Wars.
Fair take.

Kansas City As a? Place to Live
Hi all! My wife and I may be considering moving to Kansas City this year. Why should we? Why shouldn’t we? What makes Kansas City special? What are it’s pros and cons? Thanks for any information.

Rings of Poser Season 2 Teaser
Plus a bonus behind-the-scenes featurette catching us up on all the characters.
Nice teaser. Still comes across to me more as fanfic. I wish we were getting a Silmarillion anthology adaptation, but alas, that may not happen in this universe.
I’m glad the books and original movies exist.
What do others think?

Thoughts After Finishing Books 1–6
After finishing reading books 1–6 for the first time, I would personally rank them in order of enjoyment:
I am honestly not sure if I will re-read books 5 and 6. I did enjoy some parts of Chapterhouse, but overall thought the ending was ho-hum. I was entertained and engaged by the first three novels and found God Emperor to be an interesting philosophical and heady trip and didn't mind the near lack of action. I found books five and six also had interesting parts, but overall didn’t offer as satisfying of reads as a whole.
Now I am faced with the decision as to whether or not to read the next two books by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson (Hunters of Dune and Sandworkd of Dune). I know that there are some strong opinions on these two books and that many are not fans, like many also don’t particularly like the last three of Frank Herbert’s books.
I’d like to hear from this
Just Finished Watching Series
I just finished watching the entire series over the course of the year, so I’m a late-blooming fan. Probably top three comedy show for sure. Seinfeld for Xers and Millenials but with more heart and cast chemistry. It’s amazing that they were able to maintain the quality for the most part through the entire series. Dennis takes a mental health day season finale of the most recent series was fantastic!
I’m curious, why do others connect to and enjoy the show?

Memory
Memory never recaptures reality. Memory recon-structs. All reconstructions change the original, becoming external frames of reference that inevitably fall short. —MENTAT HANDBOOK
