  • It lacks so much basic shit that is standard for other voice or messaging apps, and it forces garbage 'featutes' like mouseover emojis on every message with no option to disable. You cant adjust the volume of individual users in a call. If you lose connection (due to ie a corporate vpn), you have to manually click 'reconnect', which consistently fails the first few times.

  • A felon that had to be given immunity by the supreme court he picked himself in order to stay out of prison long enough for the richest man in the world to get him elected.

You can't make this shit up

  • I do 2700 steps, 2k elevation gain every friday (for the last 6 months) + hiking. My cardio has improved drastically but I am still terrible at running. No drawback really - maybe too much upper leg muscle eventually?

I live on the 4th floor, my breathing doesnt even noticably increase after climbing up, which is great.

Btw exercise is for building muscle and improving heart health. Dont delude yourself into thinking you're burning a notable amount of calories, there's a lot of misinformation out there. You lose weight by dieting.

  • Nah you can still have high population density in businesses/venues whether people are coming from houses or apartments. Only difference is whether they have to drive 20 minutes through suburbia to get there. It doesnt feel any less dense when 90% of the land has zero points of interest besides houses so you simply drive past all of this nearly empty space to get anywhere.

If you don't care about going anywhere and just want to sit in your backyard admiring the grass most days, then sure, you do you.

  • Nah there's a reason companies invest so much into targeting kids specifically. It works. Kids ask their parents for the garbage they see on TV, parents oblige.

The personally responsibility argument is bullshit for systemic issues. You think 42% of americans are obese because we're all coincidentally bad at making decisions and europeans are just smarter? Regulations matter.
