Is the Fairphone 5 just a repeat of a proven formula or a real improvement compared to its predecessors?

Dont overwork those under 30 to become tired at 30. Give everyone the same minimum work hours. Aka, 4/5 ( aka 24h work week )
Yes, but also no. Friend of mine works in the business of import and export declarations and he says there are forms and checkboxes that need to be ticked to not have this happen. Yes sales tax is not vat, but when declaration of import happens there are methods/procedures to have them be compatible
Pay sales tax on purchase and then again on import to border control because they believe vat wasnt paid yet because it wasnt declared right
What vat? The vat the us somehow doesnt know how to apply or declare on international packages so i always ending up paying vat twice? Oh that vat.
Ye, let them.

In this thread: people who dont understand japanese culture. Except this guy, who heard the truth of japan from their coworker.
What is said is correct.
Also, do you live or work on the region of ghent by any chance?
Kak mee beunen!
There is more than that in these kind of exams.
When doing a Microsoft certification exam they require:
This is so that they can catch any type of cheating you could do. The camera footage is only part of the checks.
... Why am i hearing this in harry dresden's voice (james marsters)?
Also just cars being too high/big. My car gives no issues to others, but fuck me those bigger cars...
I wasnt talking about that. Those games were released on switch in a bundle lol
/r/whoosh for me then 😅🤣
You can...
If only brexit ended that way haha...
There are still ways around it. Ive installed mine but didnt put it over the railing of the apartment. From the outside you dont see it unless you look for it, and from my perspective you loose some space. Yes it doesnt run as effectively because of shadows ( ~280W instead of the 400W ) but that still offsets my pc and audio setup from my bill haha
Where there is a will, there is a way
Yes, but the products are manufactured and assembled in Taiwan, using a dedicated team for framework, and shipped to local warehouses across the world to sell and ship locally. They can easily decide to make, ship and sell the product across the globe but in the us. The ceo explained that they forsaw things like this when they started in 2019/2020 and therefore decided, back then, that they would take on this model to not fuck themselves incase trump would go haywire back then.
That has now saved their arses tbh
So a bit like germany's merkel huh?
Im not saying i disagree, im saying its more complex than "just a few cents".
Its not that i disagree with you, they should have used them and its pretty bad ( though a lot can be fixed with some good old wd40 for electronics lol)
However, its not a few cents more. Its way way more. A regular stick is around 1.84 - 2.73 euro a piece depending on how many you order from official components store. A hal sensor stick is often 2-4 euro.
Lets say 150mil switches are sold, each having 2 sticks and its 0.2 more per stick. That gives us the following
150,000,000 * (0.2 * 2)=60mil
60mil difference in cost for the company, at least, for using different sticks. And thats just sticks that come with the console, not separately sold controllers or pro controllers.
Manufacturing cost is very different than just 'its a few cents more'.
Ifixit gives fairphone 5 a 10/10 on repairability and maintanence
Is the Fairphone 5 just a repeat of a proven formula or a real improvement compared to its predecessors?
While they were happy with what the fairphone 4 brought to the table, they seem to like what was changed for the fairphone 5.
What are you guys' opinions on this? A welcome change? would you get one if your phone died within the next year?
