  • The tunnel is expected to cost more than high speed rail connecting Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City. It would be the longest tunnel in the world under the widest highway in North America.

And all experts say the tunnel won't even "fix" car traffic in the city.

OPCs are not fiscally responsible but are savvy at using populism and culture wars to win elections.

  • The province has no electoral mandate to remove protected bike lanes along Doug Ford's commute.

All ridings where bike lanes were threatened by Ford and his unqualified transportation minister have flipped from conservative to NDP and Liberal.

Bill 212 didn't get a single delegate in support and experts from every industry have categorically said that removing protected bike lanes will worsen car traffic and increase road death.

He shortened the debate period and rammed it through regardless, tacking on an amendment to shield the province from lawsuits as a result of removing safe infrastructure, an admission of guilt.

  • You support the court smacking down Bill 212 or the charter challenge?

  • They use AI like the AllSides Bias Fact Checker among others to come up with their ratings. I agree with the other commenter that CNN being rated as "lean left" is absurd.

Bloomberg is rated as "lean left" despite being owned by billionaires Warren Buffet and Michael Bloomberg, and multinational investment management companies Blackrock and Vanguard.

Postmedia's National Post and CTV News are rated as "Very High" factuality.

Meanwhile, The Toronto Sun has the same "High" factuality rating as The Toronto Star and The Narwhal. Not to mention that the National Post "leans right" as much as the Toronto Star "leans left". The Narwhal is purportedly as "left" as Breitbart is "right".

Pierre Polyester is calling for deportations of protestors now. 🍊

  • Musk is a direct contributor to those plants closing in Ontario and his Teslas aren't even made here.

Edit: All of your comments are defending Trump, Musk, Tesla, and the USA so I'm going to assume you're a troll.

  • This is the same rhetoric that was used in Canada's genocide of indigenous peoples.

Part of reconciliation is denouncing what happened in Canada, which is still being felt today, and working towards reparations that are led by Indigenous peoples. We must learn from what happened and do better. But it is all in vain if we support the same atrocities being committed in other parts of the world.

  • That's incorrect, if you sell a used Tesla, that is a new car sale that Musk misses out on and it devalues his cars. Not to mention that people don't want to go past protestors to buy or service their car which also impacts sales.

  • They have a lot of money. Some places that the cons have no chance in still have more blue signs than anything else. Don't get complacent, regardless.

  • He did an interview in December of 2024, less than 4 months ago.

  • I suggest giving it another chance. This is one of the less funny clips I've seen recently from This Hour. They've been on fire lately.

  • There are plenty of real videos of PP being unhinged that aren't AI-generated.

  • True maple syrup homies pay Canadian artists.

  • Look up local mutual aid groups like food not bombs, volunteer at your local food bank, join a Tesla Takedown or Elbows Up protest. You will find empathetic, like-minded people who want to make the world a better place.

Also, no offence, but it's kinda sus that you just joined Lemmy less than 24hrs ago and are immediately trying to identify groups involved in 50501.
