  • No, they tried to tax links to news, so facebook just took the links away.

I'm saying tax or regulate the platform itself.

Edit: to give a practical example off the top of my head: tariff foreign advertising services targeting Canadians (or even more broadly), use that to subsidise media.

  • This was such a huge own goal. They need to fix this asap.

I'm not saying put things back the way they were, but stop the disincentive for real news. Maybe tax social media and subsidise journalism, or otherwise regulate them in some way.

  • Assuming I'm looking at the right thing on google maps, it does seem to be a lot of earthen bunkers with berms separating them. There are also quite a few free standing buildings scattered around.

I looked at Hawthorne Army Depot (US) to compare, and that one is a lot less dense, but it's absolutely gigantic.

  • I always would. The only time it becomes a bit ambiguous is if there are two turn lanes, e.g. you're turning left from the second-to-left lane. In that case I'd usually indicate later, maybe when I've stopped or the white line is solid, so it's clear I'm not trying to change lanes.

    I'm probably over thinking it.

  • This isn't even about transportation policy. It's literally just "He's not hurting the people he needs to be hurting" policy.

Working class conservative voters get nothing out of a conservative government other than potentially hurting other working class people they've been taught to hate.

  • Years ago, there were far broader grey areas than today

You can't have both a full-prototype race series with lots of dramatic technical developments, and an almost-spec series with close racing and the top 10 within 1s.

Part of me would love to see more of the former, but in the recent past every big development just got immediately banned. In the old days it would have been adopted by the whole field, until something replaced it. It's no fun if it's going to be like that.

Skyway Man - Flight of the Long Distance Healer

I loved his last record, so I'm pretty hyped for this one.
