  • Congrats!! We’re not that far ahead of you and it does come back slowly. Expect some setbacks too. Totally worth it though, kids are awesome.

  • Good luck!! Even with just a six month old my schedule’s mega out of wack, can’t imagine it’s any easier for you. Our solution to this has been doing body weight fitness stuff at home. I’m also trying to get into a routine, but it eliminates the time to drive back and forth from the gym and a membership. If you can stomach not getting out and being at the gym (it’s not for everybody) it might be worth looking into.

  • As long as you don’t come in one of those rubes that pops when they open I don’t care tbh

  • Posts are generally good for most classes, but if you’re going to go for a Megathread specialization comments would be better long term.

  • Isn’t this just a Mormon “plural marriage” setup?

  • Got the PSVR2 for Crimmas and been playing through Resident Evil 4 VR. Kinda silly it’s locked to the ps5 but it’s super fun! I usually don’t do horror games much but RE4 is more action-y and somehow the removed aren’t getting me as bad as when I’m playing at a computer for whatever reason. Probably because I’m the scariest thing around (a dual knife wielding gremlin)

Last Call BBS is amazing when I understand how to play the games lol. Genuinely no clue how the food court one works but I want to figure it out. My favorite is probably the mini painting one but I also had a good time with the different versions of Solitaire.

Oh yeah and Megabonk’s got me pretty good. I am very bad at it.

  • I genuinely thought it was a bit until I tried listening to their podcast years ago. The guy that does the voiceovers is actually just like that.

  • The Sexy Brutale pissed me off so much. Spoilers:

You can actually save everyone in one go. And it’s fun to build up this one big attempt in your head as you go and solve everyone’s puzzles! But surprise, that’s the bad ending. the game ends up basically screaming at you that you’re a horrible person if you do that. I can’t think of a game whose story works that hard against its basic mechanics.

  • Hard agree on combat being better in Divinity OS 2, I miss being able to do a bunch of actions in one turn by the end of the game. Felt amazing. Only good thing about the constant long rests in BG3 is that going to camp and talking to everyone is fun.

  • Oooo I didn’t know about that one! I skimmed through this one a bunch as a kid because we had it at our house. There’s some unintentional comedy gold in them both I’m sure

  • Yeah hard to argue there! Sounds like a really reasonable boundary.

  • Start an apprenticeship with a Plurbing union

  • Clearly they meant “Arguing with Idiots” by Glenn Beck

  • Hell yeah it really is nice! Especially around the holidays.

Weirdly enough I have the opposite experience with older folks. Basically everyone, emotionally invested or not, asks me if/when I’d ever be open to talking to my dad again. Maybe they’re just scared of their own kids doing the same to them?

Anyone under the age of 50 generally will tell me “good riddance” though just like you. Which feels so much more validating lol.

  • Hoping that comes soon for you

  • I'll have to check out Gwen Stefani's, and yeah Ella Fitzgerald is classic

  • The cover alone makes me love this, song is great too

  • I can see why, it's great!
