Curious how they felt they were entitled to seize their electronics and savings. AFAIK "search warrants" are typically isolated to specific people and property, not a free-for-all where they can just take anything they feel like taking. However, I saw it mentioned in a previous post about this that these agents aren't even getting search warrants but a "writ" and that agents are intentionally conflating the two in the media in order to provide a false sense of legitimacy to their illegal and unconstitutional actions.
I don't think anybody said that since maybe the 1970s when Japanese vehicles started flooding the US.
There's not enough things to be outraged about so you have to manufacture new ones? Are you arguing that baby kittens have some instinctual knowledge about how to drink milk from a bowl as if that's something they'd come across naturally?
Geez $24 for some torilla chips and salsa with a couple eggs is outrageous.
By that logic, you can't steal from the dead because they no longer own the property. Because the act of stealing is taking something that belongs to someone else.
This is incorrect as your property is transferred to someone else upon your death, so it's still theft.
The dead are just bags of meat. This is like claiming that tendorizing a steak should be considered "animal abuse." I do think there's traction in the argument that the perpetrator didn't know the individual was dead therefore it could be considered rape, but in our discussion of hypotheticals here, I don't think that's relevant.
This says that a rape victim must suffer, and if they aren’t suffering, then it wasn’t rape.
It doesn't say that at all. What it does say is that it shouldn't be considered rape if it was performed on a dead body, which makes sense since this type of stuff is usually considered "abuse of a corpse."
Wearing a uniform or marking your car with signage isn't going to make a difference either way if ICE agents want to kidnap you. At least if your identity is clear, everyone knows what your purpose is in this situation.
They all did along with all but two Republicans. Funny how they have no problem working together on stuff like this, but when it comes to anything that helps the American people suddenly there's a ton of manufactured controversy as if we were watching a scripted pro wrestling match.
Meanwhile there are idiots who still don't realize how completely they were had.
I couldn't have said it better myself. You're finally starting to wake up.
When you have to start your argument with a fucking Merriam Webster definition, you should realize that your argument is shit. (This is of course the royal "you")
Yeah when was the last time you heard the excuse that "we just have to keep arming Israel because of geopolitical alliances?" They sure dropped that one quickly before morphing into blaming individuals for not further supporting it at the ballot box. No criticism for the 15 months of this under Biden. No criticism of the actual fucking Democratic candidates who chose to support this in their campaigns leading up to their entirely predictable losses.
It's just excuse and scapegoat after excuse and scapegoat while they let the world burn around them because it's good for their polling numbers in the next election.
You seem almost gleeful that these children are still being slaughtered because you feel it gives to something to rub other people's faces in. You're disgusting.
This person is doing exactly what that mother of the child who died of measles did and that's find whatever scapegoat they possibly can to blame things on because the alternative means acknowledging that they're a monster and that's too uncomfortable.
He "stalled" for fifteen months while we gave them money, bombs, and fighter jets? What was he stalling for exactly? Nothing has changed over there since the inauguration.
Oh man I love the page view counter at the bottom.
I'm sure it's a basic shape because the technology is in its infancy, and they wanted an actual building in the end. The fancy stuff comes later.
Since you mentioned technical issues, you may inquire about what information is allowed to be shared with LLMs. My employer strictly forbids their use because we deal with a ton of IP that they don't want leaked.
I wouldn't celebrate this victory too hard as this looks a lot like the 2020 US election and we all know things turned out the following election. I don't follow Canadian politics too closely but they seem to share a lot of the same issues with the US, so the Liberals better use the Democrats as an outline of what not to do if they want to retain any sort of power and influence in the future.

Transfer speed issues on new Proxomox 8.3 setup
I recently posted about upgrading my media server and migrating off Windows to Proxmox. I've been following an excellent guide from TechHut on YouTube but have run into issues migrating my media into the new Proxmox setup.
Both my old Windows machine and new Proxmox host have 2.5Gb NIC cards and are connected together with a 2.5Gb switch and running on the same subnet. Following the guide, I've created a ZFS pool with 7x14TB drives and created an Ubuntu LXC which is running Cockpit to create Samba shares.
When transferring files from Windows, I'm only seeing 100MB/s speeds on the initial transfer and every other transfer after that caps out at >10MB/s until I reboot the Cockpit container and the cycle completes.
I'm not very knowledgeable on Proxmox or Linux but have run an iperf3 test between Windows > Proxmox and Windows > Cockpit container and both show roughly 2.5Gb transfer speeds yet I am still limited when transferring files.
Googling the issue brings up some troubleshootin
