    • openscad is pretty great

  • It's really cool and I love the concept but doing basic things like chamfers are super slow and clunky so I just use freecad, which has support for openscad but also has conventional CAD paradigms.

  • Looking at the design of those wheels I feel like there was thought and probably iteration there. Those long thick hubs to provide durability and stability using a material not really suited to the use case. The whole thing was probably able to be made fairly quickly. Quite impressive really.

  • Well this was definitely an entirely US problem and didn't affect any other countries. Eggs are totally a normal price and easily available here in Australia.
