I would make a one time purchase to support the developers, but if they keep the subscription model I'll just use Jerboa, connect or liftoff instead.

I've been having login issues as well. Jerboa logged me out of lemmy.world six times today, and it took me several tries to get back in.

I'm pretty sure it's due to the server update + massive increase in traffic. We just gotta wait it out.

I read somewhere the Coast Guard said the "banging" sound was most likely background ocean noise.
