Lather was acceptable at best today. Definitely gonna need more practice with it. This seems to be a harder soap and will probably need more water and loading time to get a good lather. This is scent is light but refreshing as I get mostly orange from it. It paired great with my new Tonsorial Parlour splash as that has that citrus and floral body to it. Happy Tuesday!

Another damn good shave today. Really been trying to work my lathers better by adding more water slowly and my lathers have been awesome. This cream soap did not disappoint either. The scent notes of Amber, Honey, Hay, and Tobacco sounds like it would be heavy and overwhelming (at least for me), but it’s balanced so well that it’s like a very mildly sweet, fresh, yet warm.

Thank you u/partyman97_3 for the reminder of the theme, as I had not checked it. I had to go with a sample u/brokenjaw622 sent me a while back. I’ll admit I was not really a fan of this scent when I initially smelled it, but once lathered up and shaving I was loving it. Finished it off with a splash sample that u/KerblimeySkal sent me awhile back which I think is the watchman. Great shave today with great products from great people in the community. Happy Thursday!

Thank you u/sahenders for providing this month's and my first Buena Vista shave. While the scent is nice, I have no clue what it smells like without looking it up. The lather took me a minute to get right but it performed very well. Roman Spice is gone and now are all of my Seaforth! samplers. Time to start working on some other stuff.
Did he give you the Snoo r/wetshaving punch too? That’s what the red thing looks like to me

Done with the Black Watch sample. I’m happy to have tried it, but it’s not for me. The sweetness (plum?) is just a little too much for me. I’ve got Roman Spice left of my sampler and I’ve been looking forward to that one the most. Oh, and even after washing this brush with some dish soap, it still had some lingering War funk. Got to keep using it to get it cleaned out…hopefully.
If I had a tub I would definitely send you some. It’s not as bad as others describe but certainly not a crowd pleaser. To me it’s in that same category as Stag with how bold it is.
Vespers was one of those scents I tried really hard to like but never came around to it.

Figured today was the day to try War. To me it is overwhelmingly cilantro-esque with a metallic base. It is certainly not a calming, pleasant, or even enjoyable scent, but it is not wholly repulsive. It is still detectable even beyond my splash and frag. Lather was really good and the shave itself was nice. Happy Sunday!
