  • I have a hypothesis about it and its evolution isn't as slow as the majority of people think, something that will happen in hundreds of years you know. I think 100 years could be enough for something to change, maybe it is just younger generations are already genetically adapted to new technology but as it advances the next generations will be even better adapted or less adapted as the way technology evolves. But take this with a big grain of salt because it's just my hypothesis.

    About people being dumb or no I said, not everyone is capable of the same things. All people are different, someone can be good at something but dumb at other things. Just as we are not playing in the NBA or being experts in quantum physics. I understand it is an extreme example but you can get the point.

  • I believe the premise of your argument is false, there are lots of people who aren't capable of learning something. Not just because they refuse to learn but because there are genetic limitations. it's scientifically proved by the bell curve of intelligence. There are just people who will not learn the same as you as you will not be able to learn as someone else unless you are a genius. For example I am dumb as fuck about quantum physics but I perfectly know all the settings in a smartphone and there are people who are worse or are better doing the same.

    I'm not saying people with less intelligence are bad people and geniuses are good people, I'm just saying everyone is different, and not just about intelligence, physical characteristics vary too, as for example I don't believe you can play in the NBA and also not me. You got my point?

  • I think if we are on a simulation or not is irrelevant anyway, you have to play with what you got. It's like the question if god exists or not.. it's just irrelevant if we know it or not nothing will be magically different if we have reached this point WO knowing it what will be the difference anyway you can't change what you can't change why focus your attention on that?

  • Yeah I understand your point, anyway only time will tell us what will happen.. because there isn't any creíble metered statistic about it but I feel like soon with DNA tests normalized we will know and maybe it will be mandatory at some point, but who knows as I say honestly I don't care too much just wondering what people think about it here on Lemmy.

  • I feel it is not so absurd, are you saying there are no cases or just a few of men who are being cheated on and then baby trapped with a kid is not theirs? Or you suppose women are so saint so they will not lie with something like that?

  • I'm not proposing anything, I was just wondering what other people think about it, honestly I'm not concerned about it as anyway I'm not willing to have another serious relationship for the rest of my life not to mention having children or taking care of someone else's kid.

  • I'm just saying if two close persons I know have been baby trapped now imagine how people are out there in the same situation, not just because they are from my family just because they are close enough to know, how many are out there which didn't say anything or didn't know. There are people who say maybe 1 in 3 men raise kids which are not theirs without knowing. Really I think 1 in 3 are too many but as there is no statistic about it who knows.

  • It is more common than what you think, I don't have the exact numbers because there are not exact numbers about it, but just in my family it happened to two uncles.
