I could arrange all of that, except I don't know the destination to sail to

In the jail break there were instructions for steps to prevent kindle updates from ruining your setup, I'd say look into that. I'll be disabling software updates entirely, a shitty company like Amazon will keep making things worse. If I knew better I'd have never purchased a Kindle in the first place
It's not just about me
Trick question
Just jail breaking my kindle and installing Koreader on it was enough for me. Now I can directly download books from my calibre server on my Kindle
Please don't travel with a baby
Sincerely,
Someone tired of sitting in planes next to crying, screaming kids
Yeah and preferably before someone has to shoot them with a homemade shotgun
Our shitty education system makes kids associate reading a book with homework, and many adults don't outgrow that association
Not everyone has good parents
You are indecent, so let me grab you and touch you. What fuckin creepy pricks. It's always been about controlling women.
Yeah my Kindle is around 6 Inch as well, which while it fits my back pocket, not something I'm keen to carry with me everywhere, I only like reading on my slow e ink screen when I have free time to comfortably sit and relax, which is usually at home or back when I had an hour long train commute to work. Otherwise my phone is better, audio books in particular are really good to listen to while walking or doing some activity.
Can you share the name of this non profit society, is it a part of your local public library or it's own independent thing?.
I need a spanner for like single hex nut and I don't want to buy one for it to collect dust in my drawer lol

Has anyone used 3rd party services to apply for jobs on your behalf
Hi, I recently got laid off from my current role, and I don't have a lot of time left to find another job. Find jobs that fit my work experience and applying to them takes a lot of time away from prepping for interviews. So I was thinking of hiring some 3rd party company that applies for jobs on your behalf based on the criteria you provide them. However, I am not familiar with these types of company and don't know which ones are legit and which are just taking your money and wasting it and giving back nothing in return. If anyone knows of a company that they think is legit and doesn't cost way too much, that would be helpful. I've read about some that also customize your resume to fit the role before applying, although I am not sure if this is a good or a bad thing. I live in the US and would prefer US based company but if there's a legit non US company, I am open to looking into them as well.

Why is my entire feed in this Lemmy server nothing but American politics and Reddit bashing
I came to Lemmy cause Reddit went to shit, so I get that people want to bash it and I also understand that most of the users of Lemmy are from the US and the shit show that's happening there right now, but I am absolutely tired of these 2 types of posts being the only thing in my feed, I open this app because I want to learn new interesting things, and maybe see some funny and creative stuff, there's enough negativity and stress in my life and I don't need more of that on my only social media app. How do I filter these topics from my feed and which communities can I join to improve my feed.
