Nowadays everybody wants to talk like they got something to say but nothing comes out when they move their lips just a bunch of gibberish.

  • It formed there.

Statistically speaking it is more likely that a single brain formed randomly and is hallucinating the existence of our lives than our species forming as we are through billions of years of evolution and existing on Earth.

  • I prefer to assume that we are simply the hallucinations of a brain floating through space. Which is more probable than everyone living in a simulation and a lot funnier to think about.

  • You don't need to protest in front of churches, schools, and cultural centers to make your point by harassing those entering or exiting. Go to Government sites and public land that isn't used for worship, learning, or cultural gatherings.

Making this about one group is tone deaf as hell and ignores serious problems with groups "protesting" in these locations in bad faith, including those using Solidarity with Palestine as a way to hurt others.

  • Tesla only did 9000 pieces of paper work across 3 locations in 3 days.

Anyone business could do that, it’s not hard.

Edit: It’s not even in dispute that they did 9000 pieces of paperwork in 3 days. Math checks out!

It is in dispute because I said "almost 9,000" when in fact it is 8,653 as per the article you didn't read which I told you to read before responding and now you have egg on your face. Shame.

  • Knowing that they can keep him according to their bylaws does not change my opinion.

My point is your opinion is not useful in the conversation as it is not based in the facts of the matter. You are free to keep an ignorant point of view but it changes nothing.

I also gave you a better way to have that opinion heard. Join the CPC if you care so much.

And regardless of my power you seem to be talking down to me and dictating how I should act.

If you believe I am talking down to you that is your problem to solve. I am not dictating anything, I am simply telling you why your opinion based on nothing substantial is not important here.

I voiced my opinion you voiced your disagreement. You are now tone policing because you assumed my knowledge on a topic.

I never disagreed with you. I said your opinion isn't worth anything in this conversation because it has no substance to back it up. Which is not "tone policing".

I do hope this cleared things up for you.

Donations flowed to B.C. United long after it suspended election campaign

The article itself is important because it is fucked up that BCUP kept taking donations long after they dropped out and the election was over, but it had a very interesting piece of information about the election overall that is buried in it.

Between Aug. 29 and Dec. 31, the B.C. Conservatives took in just under $3.93 million from 4,534 contributions, while the NDP received just over $3.93 million from 7,439 contributions.

Provincial political contributions in B.C. are capped at about $1,484 in 2025, up from just over $1,450 last year.

It is interesting that with the same limits, and about the same dollar amount donated, the BC conservatives hit $3.93 million with about 3,000 less donors.

    Speaks volumes.

Ottawa quietly expands gun buyback program to include parts

The question that I have not seen asked is why are these guns being destroyed?

I may be ignorant to some reason why it is not possible, but wouldn't the best idea be to buy back all of these weapons for use in the military?

I hear our military could use millions of guns and parts, and it would actually justify the cost of the program. It would also be a massive increase on military spending our allies have been asking for and that we are in serious need of.
