Who? I'd look him up, but judging by this photo I don't think I really want to know.
On the bright side, you've now got squeaky clean disk space to fill with new projects!
This happened one day in the window well outside my office. I got banned from r/pics for posting it.
Nice, thanks for sharing! Maybe it's even something for c/accidentalrenaissance?
946,944 currently, it's almost there!
A singer in our country had the agreement that he would only sing on an event for Jewish kids if there were no political statements being made during his performance. So of course the first thing he noticed was a stand handing out pro-Zionist pamphlets.
He got on stage, explained that that agreement was violated, therefore couldn't perform and as a result got called anti-Semetic by one of our political leaders. Which resulted in the artist having to go into hiding, as he now started receiving death threats. The, in my opinion, gigantic piece of trash that called him out insists she did nothing wrong. Because taking responsibility for your actions and words is only something others need to do of course.
So.. Insisting agreements with Jewish organisations are followed: you fucking anti-Semite.
You mean the lack of decent dental healthcare. Most EU countries do not flouridate their water and we are just fine. Our toothpaste is fluoridated by the way, so it's by no means a stand against fluoride itself.
Judging by how people respond to this subject it's a hot take, but fluoridation should never be a substitute for brushing and regular affordable checkups if you ask me.
But, but.. Botanically speaking neither strawberries nor raspberries are actual berries. Fun fact: grapes are, so that makes any regular wine a berry wine.
Musk maintains that camera-only technology is the most “human” way to approach self-driving, since people use their eyes to navigate the road.
A few years ago I was driving on the motorway, came up on a bend in the road and was greeted by a dense freak fog bank out of nowhere. I immediately let go of the accelerator to reduce speed, at the same time my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and a collision alert started blaring. That gave me enough time to apply the brakes and prevent a collision with the first and only traffic jam I've ever seen there.
I see no reason to not augment our own capabilities with radar and lidar, to see what we as humans can't.
And for any EU people, like me, that happen to come across this post: EU petition

Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.
If only my airways wouldn't clamp up tight and my skin wouldn't start flaking, itching and basically falling apart after a session like that. ☹️
I'll never hate a language which has a separate Wikipedia page about its profanity. Such a colourful language!
I hear you, I dropped the Devil's language in highschool as soon as I was able to do so. I still get PTSD just thinking about the listening exercises on tape cassettes, where usually someone told her entire life story in about a single minute. Unbelievable how fast people can talk in French.
Well, there goes my appetite, this Dutch guy hates herring. Can't stand the smell, taste or texture. 🤢
Oh well, I wouldn't have been welcome anyway, seeing I've had the audacity to be critical of Israeli genocidedefense, TACO and Daddy Put-it-in.
Guess I'll go spend my tourist money elsewhere.
And don't forget the US will again get to decide to arbitrarily discard any nuclear agreements, which is of course another great incentive for Iran to not start a military nuclear program.
Goa'uld? You wish, this how you get The Strain.
Just as long as The Netherlands come second.
I'd very much like to, but so far I haven't found anything which beats Google's free Non-profit plan. Our small association uses that, which basically gives access to everything Google has to offer: amongst others e-mail under your own domain, shared storage through Drive, a workable office suite, access to Google Meet and all that with central user management.
As crappy as Google may be, when money is an issue that's a deal that's hard to ignore. 😞
Lemmy is the only social media platform where I have an account. No Facebook, no Reddit, no LinkedIn, etc. From time to time I do read a post on Reddit, when it comes up in search results. When you have an obscure gaming or Linux issue, Reddit can (unfortunately) still be a treasure trove.
