  • I just picked up reading again recently, so I have compiled a huge list of books to read. I watched the expanse, so probably want to get through my list before I think about reading the book series. Maybe the others seasons will be renewed by then.

  • I bought some really nice watch off Temu for $12 and it lasts days. I didn't know if id wear a smartwatch, so i started with that. It's lasts probably 5-7days. I've heard a lot of great reviews on garmins compared to Samsung, pixel, etc. I don't care about all the fancy stuff, just want the time, steps, and texts.

  • My question is, what costs are associated with it? The app was essentially built, the dev needed to make some changes and link to the new API which should be free now? Generally curious, because I previously paid $3 for the pro app on Reddit.

  • I paid for the sync app on Reddit back when it was like $2 or 5. I'm not paying $99 to remove ads. I know there are dev costs, but there aren't any API costs here right?

I'll still use Sync here until I see what Boost brings over it's released.

How do you decide when to give up on a book?

I read The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, and take enjoyed it. Read another book, then started reading Devil and the Dark Water by the same author. I got about 25% through and just decided to drop it for something else. I'm not an avid reader so i never know if I should stay committed or not.
