Looking over the opening songs for fall 2023, I’m floored by how many good ones there are. I only know about the ones that are in the shows I’m watching, but there’s a disproportionally high number of bangers, both musically and visually.

More YOASOBI is always good, and Frieren OP brought just that. I didn’t think it fit the slow vibe at first, but it grew on me hard and the lyrics fit the show like a glove. And the visuals are perfect.

Under Ninja’s OP was shockingly good. The flow is 10/10. Looks nice too, same can be said for the whole show.

I can see the comment contents by selecting View source on a deleted comment. Is this a bug or a feature? Or something configurable per instance?

Works on Jerboa at least. For comparison, Connect for Lemmy doesn't have the View source option but shows the comment with DELETED text as indicator.

This behaviour could have potentially harmful or even dangerous consequences.

Let's start with the obvious: the animation is brilliant. It's MAPPA after all. The production quality on this show is very good, and leaves very little to be desired. Sure, it's not the pinnacle of modern animation, but it's more than serviceable, and it posed no issue whatsoever.

Regardless, this show is very interesting, visually. The characters too, but mostly the environment is totally CRAZY! It's weird, and beautiful, and creepy. The flowers are just stunning, and knowing what they mean in the story just adds a special layer to such stunning visuals.

The voice acting (sub) is great as well, but the general sound design was subpar. I felt like a lot of scenes were very silent, and not in a cool or creepy kinda way, just in a "they didn't know what to put in the background" kinda way... The OP is a TOTAL BANGER tho
