JetBeam E26: SFT-40 + UV + green laser

Just arrived, review will come in a few weeks.

Fireflies E07X Canon FFL351A (Beamshots in description)

Also, in an attempt to provide some comparison data, and to find out what is too heavy to comfortably carry, I have weighed an arbitrary selection of common lights to compare it to the E07X.
Based on these results, the weight is good, the flashlight is balanced well, and it feels good in the hand. I'd say the E07X fits nicely in the large coat/hoodie pocket carry category. It's fat head and thick tube make it uncomfortable in a pants pocket however, so you'll want to make use of the clip and clip it to a belt/webbing/pouch etc. Overall I'm impressed with it, it's a solid addition to my lineup, the new FFL emitters are spectacular, and I appreciate t

Just arrived: Sofirn SC13 – little EDC flashlight with 18350 battery and SST-40 behind a Fresnel lens

First impression: It's nice, I really like the new switch that Sofirn used here. It's like the large switch from Wurkkos, just smaller and far better than the hard, wobbly switch they used in the past.
The tint is mediocre and the Fresnel lens creates some rings. Unfortunately also some tint variation from spot to spill. Overall pretty soft beam, but not too floody.
It appears like the bezel is press fit, but it has a small gap and it might be possible to open it.
Interesting place to attach the clip. There's this large groove at the front. Looks little weird without a clip, though.
A magnet is included as well, but it can only be used when no lanyard is attached (D'oh!).
I will write a full review, but it will take some weeks because I have quite a lot other flashlights in the queue.

my first anduril light (TS10 4000k)

My first anduril light, and first small light. Really happy with it. Thanks to you wonderful people, and the ones we left behind on Reddit, I ditched the cheap supermarket zoomies and got my first decent light from Zak’s list, a wowtac a2s. Good recommendation, great light but angled lights aren’t my favourite. Next one was an fc11. Also from zak’s list and another solid recommendation. Love it, just wish it had better runtime and lower moonlight. I use it mainly for dog walking in woods and fields, and it is good for that purpose. This TS10 fixes my moonlight issue for indoor use and is easily bright enough on full to be my backup if the FC11 ever fails me while out.

Aplos T02 - Regulated throwy 'tactical' 18650 for $22

Sort of a cross-post from reddit, but more like an effort for me to try get more active on lemmy :)
This is not a review. This is first thoughts.
I saw a couple of threads by Aplos on BLF but I didn't pay it much mind because it was an unknown brand to me and the designs looked a bit basic if I'm being honest. Then I saw Flashlight Enthusiast's video on it and I was very intrigued by the runtime graphs he posted. I ran the tests myself after getting the light in and it corroborated.

Turbo runtime, stepdown around 1.5 minutes at which point it holds at around 800-ish lumens for over an hour.

High runtime, holds at around 800 lumens for 80 minutes before a gradual decline until empty, cutting off at 2.89v.
I must say the regulation performance at this price point is really qu

Dulotec Guardian – Have you ever heard of this brand? (Review coming soon!)

Just some random facts about this light:
- Forward clicky tail switch
- Illuminated side button
- SFT-40
- Pretty good regulation
- Magnetic charging
- Integrated "cigar grip" ring

Wuben X2

This is a cool light. It's shape and feel in hand is unique and dense. It feels solid and small. Love it so far!

from top to bottom: D1, E12R, D18

I just got these lights yesterday! They all came with 519a 5700k DD. Perhaps quite boring, but the tint and CRI are just beautiful!

I finally get the the hype

I never fully understood the hype with Zebralights. I get it now, this light is so awesome!

new EDC for my 4 year old.
Plastic body, but seems quite durable. Has a pocket clip, not deep carry, but I think I like that better on this light, easier to grab. Nice mix of throw and spill (those artifacts). Also sleeps 1.

Wurkkos TS10 Copper 3000K, Orange aux

I did notice the weight difference compared to alu version, but I don't mind since copper is supposed to be anti-bacterial. Noticed that the orange aux lights are dimmer than the red aux ones, which is good.
Glad to see the switch looks like it's also made of copper. For now I prefer it to be clip-free, and just pocket it.
I understand why people are requesting a Titanium version of the TS10. Not really a fan of Ti though, unless it's for my bicycle.

TS10 Cu / 3000k and orange aux

Just got this copper beauty in. Came with free diffusor, bought the better clip extra. EDC Perfection.
