Crazy, Stupid, Love

It is a quite well-known movie, so probably no need to introduce it too much.

Still a very nice movie for that genre, I recommend it to people looking for a good romcom with several parallel plotlines

I was a bit taken aback when they mention "class of 2011" in the movie. Time flies.

13 Going on 30, chill rom com with Jennifer Gartner and Mark Ruffalo, what are your favourite movies in this genre?

The movie is a classic "teenager turned adult" plot. Nothing too crazy about it, but it's a nice movie and actors play well.

Funny to see Andy Serkis in the fashion editor role.

Also, funny to see Brie Larson and Ashley Benson

Blade Runner 2049. What do you think about it?

Second time I watched it, first time was during its theatrical release.

Still a very powerful movie. The slow rhythm and the cinematography create a very heavy atmosphere, fit for the universe and message the movie conveys.

Some of the shots give a Dune vibe, nice to see this so many years before the first Dune movie.

Definitely recommended if you like SF and dystopian universes

Sound of Freedom (2023) with Jim Caviezel. 1st time i've watched Jim as a lead actor. This is a powerful and sad movie. Really suits Jim's style.

Dear Child (2023)

A mysterious woman's escape from her harrowing captivity points investigators toward the dark truth behind an unsolved disappearance 13 years earlier.

This is a German tv show for Netflix. If you don't mind subtitles, this is a must watch if you like the kidnapped for years genre. It's a slow paced show, but I just couldn't stop watching. Only 6 episodes.

Spider-Man - Across the Spider-Verse

What a blast! The animation is so fluid it's crazy. I liked the first one, but this one is even more impressive.

Also unexpectedly mature for such a movie.

Definitely a solid movie, can't wait for the next one.

What did you think about it?

Pride, 2014

A story on how gay activists supported the miners strikes in the UK in 1984.

Quite wholesome movies, good acting and characters, well directed. Would recommend if the trailer appeals to you.
