How many herons can you see?

A very cool moment. I don't know much about hummingbirds, but my best guess is Anna's? Near Vancouver, BC.

Another cockatoo was also eating in another tree. I got the feeling they knew they were being photographed, but one of them screeched an alarm shortly after and the whole group flew off. I saw a flock well over a hundred flying around the suburb later that day.

As I was walking past, i saw the three Sulphur Crested Cockatoos on the street light and I lined up to get a shot of them early in the morning, but i didnt expect the two magpie-larks to photobomb the shot.

Galahs are similar to Cockatoos in that you'll commonly find them around suburbs and near parks where they'll fly down and eat seeds from the grass in groups.

They'll keep an eye out and fly off if anything gets too near.

I saw two together, I don't know if this is the same or the other one.

They hunt the fish in my pond.

Two Red-Shouldered Hawks calling out, locating, & mating with each other.

These two have nested above my backyard for the past year or so. It’s been interesting to watch them.
