@lemmy ban with no citation?

the fact that @lemmy bans you tells you everything you need to know about it as a platform. I didn't want to be accusatory when I thought my comments were being deleted but it seems that they were.

@lemmy I was just going to go on Lemmy and it says my account is banned until the 27th. I clicked on the email thing to see if maybe there was an email with some sort of reason and it said my account is being verified but then I checked my email and found nothing. Would you mind letting me know what or why or what?

Lemmy community account on mastodon boosts both posts and replies

when i follow a lemmy community on mastodon, the "account" of the community boosts both posts and replies - that is not how it is on lemmy itself, and the replies being boosted lead to a lot of out-of-context on my timeline. why is that so, and is it possible to change it so that it boosts only posts?

Sad to see almost none of the devs, from
Apollor (ChristianSelig), RIF (u/talklittle), Infinity (u/Hostilenemy),
Boost (rmayayo), BaconReader, to Relay (u/DBrady), etc. are not considering Lemmy at all.

I know these were hobbies but by atleast developing it for some time just to make transition for your audience to Lemmy easier would have gone a long way!

Should tags automatically be added to KBin and Lemmy posts?

Hashtags are the main way content is discoverable on Mastodon.

Meanwhile, most Lemmy and KBin groups focus on a particular topic. And there are hashtags that will be relevant to all (or most) discussions in the group.

So should those tags automatically be appended to posts from Lemmy and KBin?

What are your other Fediverse (KBin/Lemmy/Pixelfed/PeerTube/Calckey/Mastodon) accounts?

With the rapid ongoing implosion of Reddit I've noticed a number of the people I follow on Mastodon now have accounts on Fediverse-based Reddit replacements such as KBin and Lemmy.

There's also a growing number of people who now have accounts on other services, such as PeerTube, Pixelfed, Friendica, and ever WordPress sites on the Fediverse.

So I thought it might be a good idea to do a thread where people share their different accounts on the Fediverse. That way, your followers can follow your accounts and see your posts, no matter which service you post to.

@lemmy I just realized that you can submit posts to any lemmy community from any mastodon / fediverse account. This is pretty cool!
