  • Hi, could you edit your post so that the link is through beehaw? I don’t know the correct terminology, but it would be great if people here could access the community and actually see the advantages of federation.

    • Yes, my bad. Still trying to figure out this stuff. Is there a way to make it cross-instance, so that it always point to your local instance?

      • No worries, I’m still figuring things out myself. The link I posted doesn’t even work actually, I can’t find that community here but maybe it will show up eventually?

        I also think a feature like that would be great but it seems like something that actual Lemmy devs have to look at. It’ll also probably take a while for users to use it, but I agree it’s a bit annoying when you just want to share a link.
