Artists get more money bc Bandcamp doesn't take its cut (February 6th, 2026)

I don't trust Bandcamp. They're a corporate site, still early in the enshittification cycle, and I'm sure you know people who trusted Facebook and Google when they first came out and later got screwed over. But we post a lot of bandcamp links in this community bc a lot of good artists use it and it's still not too bad. All I'm saying is IF you buy stuff on Bandcamp, this Friday February 6th is a good time to do so, bc Bandcamp says on that day "we waive our revenue share and pass the funds directly to artists & labels" meaning the musicians get more of the money than they ordinarily would.
