I left reddit because the way they are acting right now triggered something that I thought i was over

I have some trauma after i got beaten up by my best friends for being annoying, after that i had a hard time starting to talk to new people, and when i learned that again, i had a hard time even getting near people if they did just a little thing, that went against my trust, and since then, that has also gotten a lot better, I actually thought i was over that, but now that reddit "betrayed my trust" i now don't use it for anything else then get more people to switch, I really dont like that part of me got brought back up, but im glad people are now switching to open source so this shit ain't happening again

I'm only on reddit to promote lemmy now

I even made my first post in askreddit which was a question about why doesn't everyone switch to lemmy so we don't support a greedy corporation, i think i got a few people switched

My last 4 posts is just promoting lemmy

I left because my votes were not counted.

I left Reddit because both my upvotes and my downvotes were not counted. It took me months to figure that out and luckily I did. I did not care much about the voting system in the beginning but I was lacking a feature that people had and that feature was the upvote notification that lets the person I am interacting with know that I appreciate his/her/their presence even if we disagree.

List of dumb reasons that I got banned from Reddit or subreddits

    • Using a rickroll link where the URL says "my nudes" (banned for "sexualizing minors" because I am a minor)
    • Banned from r/AntiWork for crossposting from r/AntiWork to r/AmITheAngel ("trolling")
    • Banned from r/NoFap for mentioning EasyPeasy method to quit porn
      • I could have discovered EasyPeasy much sooner if r/NoFap did not ban people for mentioning it. It's extremely dangerous to censor this!
    • Banned from r/UglyUncensored for having a different opinion
    • Evading subreddit bans with alt accounts

Reasons that Reddit is now banned from my life:

    • Harassing me by finding my alt accounts
      • It is very frightening to feel Big Brother watching you!
    • Allowing porn
    • Playing audio without any interaction, causing music to be paused (malware)

Every new account I created was becoming invisible

I had 3 accounts that were working well, but I had abandoned them for various reasons. Then, when I created the 4th one, I noticed something strange. Nobody was interacting with my posts or comments at all. No upvotes, no downvotes, no replies. I couldn't use the chat function at all, and regular DMs seemed to also get no reaction. When I used my other account to see comments or DMs of this one, I couldn't. They just didn't exist. When I tried to open this new account's profile page, it just told me the profile didn't exist. I tried creating 2 more accounts, and it was the same story. Finally I posted in r/help (iirc), and instead of getting a reply, I was told that this question had been answered before and my post was removed. The thing is, I had searched for an answer, I couldn't find anybody describe a problem like this.

Eventually, I tried making a new email on Proton Mail, and register a new account using a VPN. That did the trick. But this experience left such a bad taste in my
