I won't pretend that I actually follow the lore, but this came up in alot of the material I read and was so shrouded in mystery. But I guess maybe that was also the allure of it all.

Q: what is SCP? A: SCP refers to the fictional shadow organization called the SCP fouundation. Its website is host to a ton of fictional articles called scp's that are anomalies or entities that defy normality in some way.
