New gecko based browsers are rare nowadays but this one is especially unique to me because it is more than just "firefox with tweaks" like a lot of the ones I've come across. The UI is different, it's working on custom settings, a new more powerful sidebar, a new theming system, and potentially IPFS/Dat support further down the line. It's very early in development but it's still impressive as it is.

Sandro Linux Community @lemmy.ml Sandro Linux @lemmy.mlThe best web browsers for privacy on desktop
Here is a list of the best privacy browsers of desktop. I also consider usability in this list (Note: this is my opinion so you may disagree with it):
- Librewolf (Great for privacy and security)
- Dot Browser (Great for elegance)
- Tor Browser (Great for privacy but lacks usability)
- Orion (Mac only and is only in Early Access)
- Mozilla Firefox (Great for quick updates and the latest features)
- SeaMonkey (Great for people who loved the netscape)
- Ungoogled Chromium (Best for chrome lovers)
- Brave (Best for crypto enthusiasts)
- Vivaldi (Best for tweaking)
- Lynx (Best for lovers of the old internet!)
