Getting from Timber Hearth to the Sun Station without using my ship or spamming the scout launcher

Figured I'd try out my new orbital mechanics knowledge with a ::: spoiler spoiler proper (to a point) approach of the Sun Station. ::: Tried to orient myself properly then only use lateral thrusters to adjust my orbit mainly at the apoapsis and periapsis. Went surprisingly well, until I had no idea what to do when I got there... Things get a little dicier at that point!

I didn’t plan on posting but since there are no post here I might as well… Are there any current plans for a future game from the creators? I’d really love to see some more of their work.
