So, I'm doing the expedition and trying to not get irritated about it as is usual for me.
Unfortunately, the game isn't playing along with that. I'm on one of the moons of the starting gas giant. The paradise world. I'm trying to find all the animals so I can retrieve some things I actually like rather than the stating gear.
Most of the animals are aquatic so I jump into the water... I haven't tried finding fish in quite a few updates but it appears some of them spawned in a water-cave under the lake I found. I dig down and... the moment I enter any hole in the ground while underwater I'm returned to the surface.
This lake isn't deep so I'm fighting buoyancy the entire time but being snapped back to the surface doesn't seem like an intended behavior.
I saw the requirements to join the subreddit and hope this suffices! I am still somewhat of a newbie, having only about 60 hours in game, but I love to learn as much as I can about thing I get passionate about; NMS is definitely one of them. My username is u/Responsible_Snow_398
Hello i am Joining and requesting Access to the nms subreddit i got the link from the NMS Wiki on Fandom. Please and thank you. Reddit username is: BigWizard2631
Aloha. It seems I've complete most of the games intent. I realize it's a sandbox and I can do lots of things. I like to make things i can use. Like crafting and building. But not just to look good. Like Vintage Story. If I want a better weapon, I have to get the right metal, the right fuel and furnace, etc.
Im kinda different, i know. anyway. Im also not much for aesthetics, badges and such. So, other suggestions? There doesnt seem much use for a base except to mine mats for units to buy bigger ships with better equipment. I have built, I think, all of the machines that I can actually use. NPC's do most of it. Building out the frigate could be fun. But, salv frigate modules have a 1 - 6% drop rate ? brrrr the grind. Thx for the forum.
After resetting, I needed mats to repair, so I summoned my freighter, then summoned my repaired ship up to it (b/c I didnt mark it :O). Then, probably portaled back to Euclid from my freighter. I dont see a non-Euclid system in my available portal stations. If I want to go to the new galaxy I chose, do I need to travel through the waypoints to get to the galactic portal again?
I had bought NMS, three years ago, and only now I've started to become interested in the game. I want to join this forum to find out more about the game and what I can do in it. Reddit - Rccy
Hi, I'm a returning player to NMS and would like to please request access to NMS subreddit! I want to look up some older discussions and guides there. Same username as here - (soulstrike)
Just started playing no man's sky, I searched some questions on google and reddit posts came up. I currently can't see them because the community has been set to private.
I'm following the instructions on the reddit page and I'm posting here, would someone please add me to the reddit community? My user name is the same (sweetCHlLLl)
Hello. Im a 60 yo gamer. Just picked up NMS. Always loved Reddit for good discussion. Moving away from control is a good thing. I'd like to join the discussion here. Thanks.
